Katy Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, driving under the influence of excess alcohol and no insurance. Oh dear, they'll throw the book at him now. When will people learn?
Unit Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Oh dear, they'll throw the book at him now. When will people learn? I hope they do, no insurance with the kind of money footballers make? fooking twat.
Jay Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Oh dear, they'll throw the book at him now. When will people learn? and so they should!! as you say it amazes me that people still try and get away with things like this his actions have destroyed a family nobody should have any sympathy for him and whatever he gets wont be long enough in my book
Lets Be having You Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 This twat, needs to go down for life min 20 years,2 kids gone, family total loss, fook him
syston_fox Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Hi, I am here to ask you not to judge Super Luke. Having met him on many occasions I can tell you he is not your average chavvy young footballer.I also pose the question, have you ever broken the speed limit on the motorway? I think this is just a sheer tragedy. I am so gutted for the kids family and for Luke. No insurance, dangerous driving, and driving under the influence? He may not be your average chavvy footballer but he's a complete idiot!! In my opinion he deserves to have the book thrown at him especially after he was part of a road safety advertising campaign. If it had been simply an accident then it would just have been a devastating tragedy but he's 100% at fault for this one and so deserves all he gets!
Guest Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 If a professional footballer hadn't been involved would it have made the news at all? Actually, it did make the news before any mention of any footballer was made.

(if it's as reported) what a dick head. commiserations to the family.

If it had been simply an accident then it would just have been a devastating tragedy but he's 100% at fault for this one and so deserves all he gets! exactly!!! I have also just read that not only has the father lost 2kids he is also in hospital with a suspected broken neck and back so chances are he may never walk again!! and all because some idiot decided to drink and drive and as for the no insurance that's just shocking you can't believe that someone earning probably £4000 a week just can't be bothered or thinks he doesn't need to pay insurance.
Simi Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 No insurance? What a ****wit. Deserves everything he gets I reckon. Cannot beleive that.
Darkzzz_ Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Disgrace!!! That poor family torn apart !! Ok Ok we all do stupid things, and i am no exception to this, but this is beyond silly, it is bordering on selfish!! Driving home, drunk, no Insurance (We earn way less than him and most of us still pay ours)!! How sad that this could have been prevented if this guy had not been so selfish and stupid, he is responsible and he should be made to pay like anybody else who is at fault, he knew he should not have drove that car home, he knew and he put two fingers up to the law and two fingers up to anybody else on that road!! Now that poor mother has to mourn the loss of her two lads and nurse her husband "if" he pulls through.... WHY.....
Hullfox Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 I'm sure someone somewhere on here once held sympathy for those caught drink driving. Wonder whether this makes them change their mind.
Katy Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Why the hell did he not stay in a hotel or something. Fair play to the Plymouth fan for defending his player, I remember trying in vain to fight our lads corners when the La Manga bollocks came out, HOWEVER as more details come to light it really is indefensible.

Exactly, now it has come out he was over the limit I can defend him no more. Remember guys, he did have insurance, so all the comments saying 'I earn less but pay mine' etc is void. His insurance was invalid as he was over the limit, hence this charge. Despite his good personality and character he deserves everything he gets, two children have lost their lives and it is their family I feel for. R.I.P Arron and Ben

pafcfan10 Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 That is not the case in law. Whilst you say you can defend him no more, you are in fact just trying to do that. Okay, I didn't come here for an argument so I will leave you now. I am not defending him though, as I think he deserves everything he gets. However, our club doesn't deserve everything it will get in the press as a result of this

This isn't about football though.

However, our club doesn't deserve everything it will get in the press as a result of this If you look at the case of Lee Hughes and West Brom then I think so long as the club handle the incident in the correct way then the good name of PAFC will remain in tact....however, this time should be spent thinking of the poor childrens family and not how it will effect individual clubs!
Hullfox Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 I dislike a minority of your fan base.Holloway didn't deserve his house being spray painted and the like. This isn't about football though. It's a fair point that Ched. Looking at PASOTI, the comments are far more restrained and balanced now one of their own is accused of causing death, as opposed to when somebody left their employment to join us. Just seen the mother of the family on the news. No one deserves to have to suffer as she is undoubtedly doing.
Father Ted Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 After reading all this about insurance, etc. WHAT A TWAT!! He deserves all the treatment he will get now. Possibly just as bad as the Lee Hughes incident if not worse.
Katy Posted 8 June 2008 Posted 8 June 2008 Anyone else had a preachy holier than thou PM from Thracian on this matter?
