Kyle :worship:

Just liked we hoped, some new names taking advantage and breaking through, nobody would of chose Kyle though.

Probably still gonna end up with a Nadal Federer final.

Don't feel bad...

Raonic: Yugoslavia

Shapovalov: Born in Israel/Russian roots

Even our best doubles player of all-time Daniel Nestor was born in Serbia.

Also, if he does win the SF GB will have a new no.1 mens singles player for the first time in over 12 years.

I thought Murray , had been n01  just a couple of years back...??

I'm talking about British no.1, not world no.1 - Murray has been GB no.1 from when he broke through in late 2005 to the present day.

Also it was a more like a few months back lol

Amazing that, sort of shows how far Murray is sinking due to lack of activity I expect Kyle to fly up from 49 regardless but you wouldn't of thought he'd of gone high enough to dethrone Murray.

Disappointing for Kyle's incredible run to end in that way, was hoping for a more competitive match, fatigue and occasion probably got to him. Nonetheless this run catapults him inside the top 32, can't remember the exact ranking.

The finalist from the top half, right now you'd have to favour Cilic.

Well at least I got something right for once :D

As others have said, a shame he couldn't take one more step, but even so a great tournament.

Now that he's going to have seeding for a lot of tournaments (Slams and otherwise) he needs to make that work for him to climb further. The Masters in Indian Wells and Miami would be a good place to start there.
