RedOnRed Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 What type of player is he?1. Which wing does he play on the LEFT? can he play on both, 2. Good Left foot? energetic? tricky? Quick? keeps posestion? Good Crosser? Takes Corners? Details young Sir Details if you dont mind, your the only one who knows cos you have seen him for the last 2 years. ETUHU was supposed to be tricky and quick and he was the biggest pile of shite ive seen on our wing since oh the last 10 weve had! 1. Both, but his prefered and stronger side is on the left. 2. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes...yes damn it!
Daggers Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Lloyd Dyer's undeniably a very good player and will do very well for you lot. He has played a big part for us in the last two seasons and will be a major loss . Coming from someone who has watched a lot of Premiership football on TV prior to "supporting" Franchise this recommendation carries a lot of weight.
RedOnRed Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Coming from someone who has watched a lot of Premiership football on TV prior to "supporting" Franchise this recommendation carries a lot of weight. I've also watched a load of World Cups and Euro matches (most likely like yourself) but so what?
Lovejoy Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 I have been told by a Dons ST holder that he is the sort of player that is unpredictable, and doesn't always turn up. Apparently he also gets tired very quickely. However I will reserve judgement for now.
Thracian Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Sounds like exactly the right sort of signing to me. I've long said the club had to look for goalscorers/goalmakers in more parts of the field than just striker and this is undoubtedly aimed at doing that. Think of it this way. We ned 75 goals to be competing for promotion and if Dyer can gets 11 and other wingers chip in with another 11 then it means the central strikers, central midfielders and others only need 50-odd between them which is perfectly realistic especially if Gradel and, hopefully, Porter are options. Last season we had no chance because our wingers and central midfielders contributed virtually nothing.

We'd all love to see it.

Master Fox Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Does anyone know what the flowers are looking like at the training ground this year?
Babylon Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Does anyone know what the flowers are looking like at the training ground this year? Milan has put a patio down instead.
Master Fox Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Milan has put a patio down instead. Hmmm, nice touch.

Sooper Steve's shin Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Milan has put a patio down instead. And Elvis is buried under there...
Lillehamring Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 I have been told by a Dons ST holder that he is the sort of player that is unpredictable, and doesn't always turn up. Apparently he also gets tired very quickely. However I will reserve judgement for now. i think, given our recent form, it is easy to forget that these players are very definately stepping up a level, if they are worth keeping the thought of playing for us should be highly motivational, not to mention the improved facilities and training we offer. i mean, take Morrison, he is effectively going from non-league, to a team that were in the premiership top 10 not so long ago - ok we aren't so hot now, but fans of other teams know leicester, we're always in the news, and in many ways we set a precedent for non 'big-4' clubs surviving in the prem. i hope these guys are good, and i think that unlike the dross we have bought over the last five years, for these younger lads from lower leauges, putting on a leicester shirt will actually be a big deal and should (hopefully) bring out the best in them.
Thracian Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Will you be doing a Nigel Pearson scoring system like the Allen one last time? We'd all love to see it. Yeah, like you'd wish to see MK Dons win 6-0 on the opening day of the season!
Fox You Forest Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 A good player. A winger Come on Lloyd fill Thrac's attacking wing play Void.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 When was the last time we signed a player whose team were upset to see him leave? Josh Low.
Jack Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Nice to see a young winger being signed for once. Not really heard of this lad though so I don't know what he is like.
Simi Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 I was informed of this activity yesterday morning, from a fellow poster. Ledge Same.
RedOnRed Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Yeah, like you'd wish to see MK Dons win 6-0 on the opening day of the season! Sounds good.
Halfsy Posted 1 July 2008 Posted 1 July 2008 Let's just hope he can live up to the hype surrounding him, after wingers we've had at the club recently have been poor. This signing seems to close the door on us signing Bell permanently?
