new to the forum, so this may have been done many times before, in which case I apologise! but what is thew worst injury you seen on a football pitch, leicester or otherwise. and who were the most injury prone players for city.

city's worst in my opinion was Stans foot pointing at a jaunty angle!

Ullathorne in his first game

Weso's (first) broken leg

Tony James's leg break was a bad 'un. I think I was there when he did it, possibly against Wolves?

Something big once happened against Wolves anyway. Maybe I'm thinking of Walshy? He always used to get in a lather against them, didn't he?

Anyway, to summarise: Tony James was the worst injury I've seen. Maybe.

My own broken leg was pretty painful!

But the worst i saw was a bloke who went full on into a post with his nuts attempting a goal line clearence. Don't know who it was or who for (but my brain thinks forest?) but i'm sure someone will now of the incident i mean - and maybe even know of a youtube link?

It was a game before his time - I'm thinking late nineties ealry 2000's i think. Traore may have done that, but that wasn't the one i'm vagely picturing - but i'm sure he was wearing red.

I know you said worst injury but.............

I think the worst you could possibly get is a Heart Attack at half time that very nearly kills you.

No none of us saw it, but were totally shocked when we heard about it.

Weso getting his leg broken by bobo blade

Me getting my nose broke in football?

Aye, that was pretty bad.

Djibril Cisse has had some pretty bad injuries over the years.

Eduardos was horrific.

Surely not as bad as the players who have actually died from things like that, it would be devastating.

Eduardo was awful.

Other than that my dislocated elbow was fcuking distgusting - And even more painful.

I know a woman who's given birth twice and dislocated her elbow. She said the elbow was much more painful!

Couldn't play football for 4 months. Still bends funny and hurts when I knock it - 5 years on from the incedent!

I'll have to look for a picture of just after I did it and put it up here - Not for the light bellied!

As for now, here's one of my arm recently.

That looks sick, how did you do it originally?

Well 5 years ago I was a lot smaller than now!

Year 7. I had to rush to get to football training for the school as it was one of the first and you had to be on time to get in the team. I was late, thanks to my science teacher.

Anyway... I was running to training with my school bag, boot bag, pe bag - The lot. Started tiring and took a short-cut over the 'grass' It wasn't grass though, as it was september and everyone ran over it, it was solid ground. I tripped over the edging stone, and when you fall forward the natural reaction is to put your arms forward. Somehow (possibly due to the weight of my many bags) I landed on my right hand. So all of my weight + bags was slammed down to the hard ground on my hand. My forearm buckled under the pressure and my elbow popped backwards and out of the joint, therefore poking out of my skin. This happened at 1 o'clock and it didn't get opperated on untill 8. The worst 7 hours of my life. The next 4 months weren't particularly pleasant either to be honest. I just hope it doesn't happen again, and I hope I don't get arthortitus. I didn't really do quite as much physiotherapy as I should have done. I can barely do 10 press-ups as it grinds against the bone when I do and you can hear it grinding and cracking. Not good. :(

Wow that sounds terrible, I once broke my brothers wrist playing wrestling many years ago but that wasn't nearly as bad as your incident mate!

Eeeesk. Not a big fan of breaks though either to be honest. Broke my finger and even though it was my little finger it hurt, so a wrist would be frigging painful! As for my incident - Well It's made me a much more cautious person and while people are doing dangerous things sometimes I picture that moment and think again. :P I think the worse thing is as well as dis-placing your bone - It also tears through all of your muscles which makes it very weak and very painful! It was greeny yellowy purple all up my arm for a few weeks!
