forestrich Posted 7 July 2008 Posted 7 July 2008 How do lads. I've fired off an email to Loughborough Dynamo to see if we can use their pitch on the 27th and what the cost would be. The 26th is out for a few people, and I thought a Sunday may be better, providing nobody has a Sunday League game or anything. Just a tentative email at the minute, to guage costs of hiring there as opposed to a pitch in Nottingham or Leicester. I was the desginated sorter out of pitch booking for our recent victory against FC United, and it looks like it'll be me sorting it out again this time. Don't let the fact we beat FC United 16-0 fool you, we are pretty damn rubbish! Should be a good craic, hopefully have a few beers after the game and a bit of banter and such like. If you lads have any preference on dates/locations etc, let me know and I'll factor it in to any booking of pitches and stuff. As a guide, the pitch we had last week cost us £60, which spelit between the two teams worked out at about £2 a player. We did have a ref booked for £30, but he didn't show up, so we improvised. I'll see if I can get a more reliable ref this time round, as it's worth having someone impartial to shout abuse at. Looking forward to this one.

Joeyb - I would be up for it, depending on the date and location, alll these ones in Leicester are a bit hard for me to get to as i finish at 12 on a sat and you start at 12 so you see........

There's not really any fair way to do this but something has to be done. Priority should be given to those who regularly turn up.
