I've tried unplugging cables, unplugging power supplies...everything. At best I get a squat red or green boot up image in a 4:3 ratio but then it goes blank again. All the noises are working, games load...but either blank screens or interference only. WTF? I'm not paying out for a bloody repair job on it. If anyone has any knowledge about this, or somewhere I could go to find out more then I'll love you forever. Otherwise it is going to become a paperweight and I'm getting me a PS3. Fudging bollocks. Sounds like your HDMI cable has had it. suppose thats what you get when you you get it free with your console. if you are using Composite cables then its likely the Video part of that cable has buggered up. a new Composite/ HDMI cable should fix the problem. if it doesnt then itl be a system problem. Thats Microsoft for you. "I've had a pretty similar problem with my computer lately." - You need a new VGA cable (the one that goes from the PC to the computer sounds like it maybe slightly dodgy, or dusty.

Fudging bollocks. dont know if you know but if you check the date on the back of your 360, if its january 06 or earlier then you can get free repair from microsoft. and i know it says for the red ring of death thing but a few people i know did get the free repair because of a similar problem to yours, i think microsoft did this because of the solder etc used to connect components was too weak and melted easily therefore the parts fall to pieces. http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/734/734126p1.html hope this helped!

The movement of the character is probably the worst Ive seen on the 360. I tried playing the storyline got bored after a couple of hours, Then went round killing zombies with whatever i could get my hands on for a couple of hours then got bored haven't played it since. I suppose it could be slightly better on the Wii because Phube can swing his joy pad thingy around like a madman.

Ive had it for a while and the disk tray has started fooking up. I got it new off ebay about a year ago. Could i still ring up Gamestation and say it bust can you replace? Also the thing messed up GTA4 . Can they fix disks? It dont look too bad.

They have a disk cleaning thing that looks pretty extreme, not sure how much it costs to get it done though.
