Shrenchel Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Is it eeeeerm...a really jarrin way to show-off about having 'inside' info without actually saying anything vaugely interesting?! Oh right it is yeah.
Thracian Posted 16 July 2008 Author Posted 16 July 2008 This about Taggs and Hayes? Maybe. But what I'm looking for is what, if anything, caused a rumpus and how might it have developed?
Unabomber Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Maybe. But what I'm looking for is what, if anything, caused a rumpus and how might it have developed? Well I don't think anyone knows so why don't you just spill the beans if you know anything.
breadandcheesebrother Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Maybe. But what I'm looking for is what, if anything, caused a rumpus and how might it have developed? Well, if it is a Hayes/Taggs flare-up, how about some old fashioned Northern Ireland vs Republic of Ireland tension?
Thracian Posted 16 July 2008 Author Posted 16 July 2008 Well, if it is a Hayes/Taggs flare-up, how about some old fashioned Northern Ireland vs Republic of Ireland tension? If that is to suggest there was some verbal combustion between the two then I couldn't discourage you. I hadn't thought of Irish rivalries being involved though.
Unabomber Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 If that is to suggest there was some verbal combustion between the two then I couldn't discourage you. I hadn't thought of Irish rivalries being involved though. What caused it then Thrac?
breadandcheesebrother Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 What caused it then Thrac? Maybe Taggart told him he was not very good at football (relative to the other players at belvoir drive that morning) and hayes objected to this assertion. Come on Thracian, we've got as far as we're going to with this!
James. Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Thracian, what the fuck are you on about? I'd rather ask Jessica if she really wants me to get into bed with her.
Thracian Posted 16 July 2008 Author Posted 16 July 2008 Okay enough's enough. I had hoped the quiz might impart some information - as Flynny suggested - but there's barely been a ripple so I'll just have to forward a theory that's probably a bit silly seeing as I couldn't imagine flames being fanned so fiercely from such a small spark. But here goes: A player perhaps misheard an instruction about where to train. Someone wasn't happy seeing the warm-up starting in the wrong place. Words were exchanged, players felt the need to intervene and the player went home. I don't know of course but if that's the way it was with weeks to go yet before our first fixtures, perhaps we really can expect some passion on the field this season.
demon_dog Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 1) Professor Plum2) Lead Piping 3) Library C'mon Lisa use your brains a bit more! Red marks on his neck, must have been Miss Scarlet. Using the Rope, In the Ballroom.
James. Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 A player perhaps misheard an instruction about where to train. :o :o :o :o :o
egg_fried_rice Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 So has someone definitely been sent home? This thread is ridiculously cryptic...
Fox You Forest Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Martin Allen popped by the training ground to collect some gardening shears he left during the clearing of his desk, He just happened to glance over to his beloved flower patch and he couldn't believe his eyes... Jonathon Hayes pissing on his flower bed as he couldn't make it to the toilet. Mr. Allen then entered a fit of rage and began throttling the little useless winger. 5 Points please.

I player sent home from Slovenia??
Mickey O'Neil Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Well, if it is a Hayes/Taggs flare-up, how about some old fashioned Northern Ireland vs Republic of Ireland tension? c'mon the Republic
Guest Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 C'mon Lisa use your brains a bit more!Red marks on his neck, must have been Miss Scarlet. Using the Rope, In the Ballroom. That was all part of the plan, it was a set up, pure and simple. Never trust those Plums.

Wow this is very close to what happened. One or two points not spot on but near enough. The player went home and was not sent home.
DB11 Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Why do people presume it's about Slovenia? Why not the training ground and between player(s) that weren't sent there?? But I dunno
breadandcheesebrother Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 you may as well tell us who it is. if not, just say what the name rhymes with!
Jonezy Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 What a weird thread...... Stop smoking that shit Thrac.... So a player has gotten himself into an argument with a coach and went home not happy, and the real suspects are Hayes and Taggart?
Thracian Posted 16 July 2008 Author Posted 16 July 2008 Wow this is very close to what happened. One or two points not spot on but near enough. The player went home and was not sent home. Thanks - I've amended my text.
DB11 Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Care to share which player it was? The general consesus is that it was Hayes.
