RedOnRed Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Who's your right back? We've got a couple of useful wingers ourselves.
DonsFan Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Who's your right back? We've got a couple of useful wingers ourselves. Not forgetting Sammy Baldock, he could beat their defence on one leg.
Jon the Hat Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 I want to see Pearson countering our natural tendancy to defend a lead by bringing on some more attacking players when we are ahead. That should shake the idea that we should be sitting back and defending. Fresh legs and some pace, maybe Chambers to come on and run at them if the wingers get tired, or of course Gradel if he is on the bench.
Simi Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Who's your right back? We've got a couple of useful wingers ourselves. Kerrea Gilbert on loan from Arsenal.
Jon the Hat Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Who's your right back? We've got a couple of useful wingers ourselves. We have a young chap from Arsenal by the name of Gilbert. Unknown quanitity at this stage. Snap. Hang on here comes Dave...

Martin Allen had a habit of doing that for us the season before last and cost us too many games we should've put to bed and automatic promotion.

Fresh legs and some pace, maybe Chambers to come on and run at them if the wingers get tired, or of course Gradel if he is on the bench. This is precisely what is required. This is the kind of reputation we have brought on ourselves after 4 seasons of negative football. On Saturday, this can all change. We've seen enough of it.
renards Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 With Gradel around he is more likely to kick his own arse.
Manderic's pants Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Personally, I'm a bit concerned about the hype surrounding us - most have us as the favourite to go up. I'm just willing the first game to be over and that it doesn't end with crushing the optimism surrounding the new campaign. So, let's say 5-0. Realistic.

Free Falling Foxes Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Leicester City 0 - 0 MK Dons. You beat me to it. I really don't see how this optimism is justified. Btw. An indifferent start to the season and inconsistancy after that will lead to us finishing just outside the play-offs come next May. We'll also break our record for the lowest attendance for a home league match this season. (Dont know what it is - but we'll beat it!) FFF
Webbo Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 a 3-2 win to us, with us hanging on for the last 10 minutes.

Guest Bilo Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Leicester 2 (Fryatt and Gradel) MK Dons 0. Attendance: 22,546

Free Falling Foxes Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 You don't fancy a bet on that 0-0 do you? How about my other two predictions (Attendance & final position)?

Daggers Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 I'm revising my initial prediction - it will be 12-0 with Dickov scoring a double hatrick.
