Anyone looking forward to watching this?

I don't have a massive interest in Olympic sports but usually become fascinated when it comes around. Shame we don't have any real medal contenders. In my opinion i would have liked to have seen Chambers go, he would have given us a sniff at least.

Have to say my favourite event to watch is 4 x 100m relay. Hopefully the smog of Beijing won't hinder it all :unsure:

Just Watch the Triple Jump.

Phillips Idowu's going to be lethal.

I will get up and watch the Hockey at whatever hours of the morning its on at.

Other than that, when at home, the Olympics will be on in some form on my TV.

I love watching all the sports that don't get TV coverage normally.

I think were going to do really well this year. The cycling team should do really well, we usually do well in sailing and show jumping. Sotherton, Idowu & Ohorougu have a chance in track & field

All this build up for people like Phillips Idowu, I can see him choking it. Hope I'm wrong. I read online GB team are predicting us to do better than the last one, which will be some achievement because we did pretty well. 10th overall I think.

Lets hope our sailors and shooters are up for it.

edit:That last bit reads a bit weirdly.....you know what I mean.

It's pathetic really. I think I'm right in saying that his record jump for 2008 wouldn't have beaten the world record in 1975.

Can't wait to see Michael Phelps in the pool. He is the best athlete at the games by far and will be the story of 2008! Would be amazing if he could get 8 golds in 1 olympic games!

Waste of time, not to mention appalling that the money laundering greedy b*stards that are the IOC selected the country with the worlds worst human rights record as the location to hold this dismal example of all that is wrong with professional sport.
