Corky Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 If you have sky sports big league weekend tommorow ss1 Probally longer aswell. Good point. They may have a feature on the match, because it was one of the most important yesterday in the Football League.

The Stig Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Good job Robbie Earle was a decent footballer, he'd never have made a TV presenter.
Corky Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Good job Robbie Earle was a decent footballer, he'd never have made a TV presenter. An improvement in Matt Smith though.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Robbie Earle did a very convincing impression of Matt Smith today.
The Stig Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 Robbie Earle did a very convincing impression of Matt Smith today. I actually think he was worse.
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 What the fook is it with whoever is presenting it. See who can speak slowest? I suppose it makes up for the short highlights.
The Stig Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 What the fook is it with whoever is presenting it. See who can speak slowest?I suppose it makes up for the short highlights. I actually don't understand it. Robbie Earle is sepaking slowly as he's a crap presenter. Fair enough it's not his job. But Matt Smith when he does live games is a good presenter. When he does highlights he speaks one word every other second.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 I watched it on sky+ this afternoon - a lot better you can wizz through the shit and see Forest, Derby and Coventry do rubbish before pressing play to watch the leicester goals and then rewind to see them again... and again... AND AGAIN! Although i agree about the Robbie Earle talking slow thing as i caught a bit of his parts - maybe they should hold the queue cards closer???
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 November 2008 Posted 23 November 2008 I couldn't believe the audacity of the presenters to highlight the fact that "there is some quality" in league 1, just before showing our highlights. When you consider it, the quality of football played is not that much different. Defensive howlers might be more of the norm and less clinical finishing but the actual play, passing, movement etc is not disimilar to what you see in the championship.
