Simi Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 The draw for the second round of this season's Carling Cup will take place this evening (Wednesday) on Sky Sports following the conclusion of the live Wycombe Wanderers versus Birmingham City tie, which kicks off at 7.45pm.The Foxes are already through to the next round having overcome Stockport County 1-0 last night at the Walkers Stadium. Ties are scheduled to be played, week commencing August 25. Surely another chance to dick Forest would be nice? Away of course...
bigneville Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Surely another chance to dick Forest would be nice? Away of course... Yeah an away local derby would be great. Or a money spinning trip to a big boy.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 What premiership teams are in, or if it would be easier which team aren't in it yet?
Simi Posted 13 August 2008 Author Posted 13 August 2008 What premiership teams are in, or if it would be easier which team aren't in it yet? Think the ones that are in Europe don't come in it yet.
bigneville Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Think the ones that are in Europe don't come in it yet. Correct. They come in round 3.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Wouldn't mind a trip to the capital again, Fulham or West Ham wouldn't be too bad.
Finchy Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Derby are a bit sh*t at the moment, only just won last night so it would be good to go and beat em. Cov away would be perfect tho.
Kilworthfox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Give me Notts County or London. Anyone we can beat
Koke Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Coventry or Forest or Notts County away. I'd like to stay local.
syston_fox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Anywhere away that I haven't been to yet.... although failing that an away local tie.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 I wonder if the seats in the away end at Notts County are still dusty
Flynny Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Either: 1. Someone we should dick on easily (home) 2. London team (away) 3. Local team (away) I'd quite like to see us progress a bit if possible. I swear this team is better than last seasons, it'd be nice to be able to demonstate that against a Championship side perhaps.
Glenfield Fox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Think the ones that are in Europe don't come in it yet. Bolton down at The Walkers. Be nice to give that Megson a good pasting.
Alexikokopops Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Reading away, or a London team away. I fancy an easy game to get to.
Kilworthfox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Reading away, or a London team away. I fancy an easy game to get to. Boooo! Reading away how uninspiring I am very angry with your selfishness Alex! Northampton & a Home game is good for me
FilboFox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Yes, I'll plump for anyone we can beat really... a nice cup run could be a good thing for the team and help build confidence and team spirit.
Asha Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 First choice would be Notts County away, then Forest. Anyone local, away.
