Guest Bilo Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Darts It would be awesome to call a big fat geezer with a bushy beard an Olympian.

isaidno Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 The last time we won this many medals, in the 1920's, we won gold in the tug of war and tandem racing. Bring them back !
Wycombe Fox Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Let's bring some events back from the 1900 Olympics in Paris; a. Live Pigeon Shooting (Trafalgar Square maybe?) b. High Jump for Horses (Big mat required!) c. Men's 200m Obstacle Race (Swimming!!)
FilboFox Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Why don't they just stick to what the Olympics are... athletics. From what I learnt about the Greeks a long time ago, the Olympics were just basically athletics with a few other sports as well... they should just put it back to being that as it is what it is about and what everyone pays attention to when it's on... is anyone going to seriously say they watched the shotgun event?
