The thought did cross my mind, but i have seen doco's where this does happen and too the less extreme having been to Africa they are very fascinated by white people and there are a lot of things they had never come across.

It's amazing, like hundreds of years of modern progress just hit them in one day, how they learn to trust and communicate it fantastic to watch and the main guy so interested in the cups and bottles etc, it's hard to imagine living their way of life

Quite lucky the white men weren't attacked really. In that part of the world, cannibalism still takes place in certain tribes (i watched a documentary a few weeks ago about some tribes in Papa New Guinea).

Totally agree mate, If I was in the White guys shoes I would definitely thought twice about pointing that camera at them so early on in the meeting, never know how they might react, I'd also have been eyeing the axe thing the tribe had with a degree of caution too, at least until the trust had been built up a bit

what was good was that the look of confusion and deep thinking on the tribes face was exactly the same as ours
