Firstly, I suggested that interest in such a movement might place your views pretty far to the right. (Which is a far cry from extremism but not too many steps away from a far right perspective on some matters) Whilst I appreciate you now have an alternative opinion on the people within that demographic, I do wonder what values drew you to such a group and if you have reflectively challenged those values as you have the group itself.

It's difficult Matt, because whilst you present as an open man with 'nothing to hide' you freely discuss your hard line zero tolerance opinions in regard to issues around say 'theft' and 'sex offending'. Yet in other threads you advocate that you have paid hundreds of dollars for to have sex with young 18 year old girls who look like Britney Spears in Vegas - which to some may demonstrate little understanding at worst of sex offending, the sex trade or at the very least the plight of vulnerable young women and also admitting to going to watch your football club without paying for an adult ticket and going in on a young persons ticket, thus defrauding the football club - which are both value based lifestyle choices which one could argue are matters of integrity shielded by a cultural bubble that has the word LAD written on it.

Re-tweeting a joke about Irish Republicans that you found funny, is likely to bring you challenge from that area of human geography who may find such remarks offensive or at the least distasteful and I do not know if you did not consider this or simply did not care. Whilst being a nice guy that 'would have a drink with anyone and not judge by an internet persona' (which is interesting you feel is different to 'the real somebody') does not necessarily defend what might be described as a somewhat hedonistic value base.

I don't doubt though that you are a good person with good motives, your lifestyle choices to some though will be alien and may not be received in the context you had hoped.

I do not intend to offend or judge - I'm just trying to illustrate why I think we might have arrived at this juncture.

And Canis Lupus Bardus, if you could just 'wind your neck in' for a bit, that'd be great. I'll address worthwhile comment as an individual but am unable to concern myself with being placed in your 'liberal left wing boiling pot' which somehow attributes and merges all views from all people you consider 'left' in some way and the entire group served up on the same plate and somehow asked to take responsibility for the views of strangers. It's tiring.

Sorry, I'd typed out a big reply then and the PC crashed so I'll re write it again but shorter, apologies.

Good Post Nick and some very fair points.

I'll try and "wind the neck in" for a time.

Whay values drew me to the group? Nothing really, like I said they didn't really stand for anything at the time, I saw them as the only ones having a go back as extreme Islamists stood on the streets on Britain and spat at our armed services, that was the interest. I didn't even see as political at the time, more in self defence.

Big difference between sex offeding and prositution, the latter is a womans choice and going to Vegas and not having a hooker is like going to France and not enjoying some champagne. We're all adults here and it's a million miles away from going to the Chicken Farm in Pattaya.

I've only ever had one complaint on Twitter and that was from you know who, if he doesn't like it he shouldn't follow, that's what 99% of people do.

If people don't recieve my lifestyle how I intend that's fair enough, it's not really going to bother me either way, I live for the moment and believe I'm actually one of the few people in life that gets up every day absolutely loving what they do, loving life and I fully intend to enjoy myself to the maximum, I'll keep doing that for a long as I live. You only live once, this isn't a dress rehearshal.

Peace and Love.

Sorry Matt, the Canis Lupus Bardus 'wind your neck in' was directed at flowwolf - sorry for any confusion.

When someone picks an unnecessary fight and then ends up coming off worse then I sometimes +1 the response to discourage further stupidity. That and when people abuse you.

It's great you've grasped the professional element to your role.

Spherical would have ****ing hated me as a mod. lol

I have no beef with the mods nor Webbo, nor any of the moderators having opinions, but to call me petty and then to do that is hypocritical. I doubt it's the first time he's done it, and it won't be the last. I won't lose sleep over it.

Nice to see you around Finners. There's been an absence of acerbity around here.

I love it how people think they have a right to judge me on who I rep. People get repped for disagreeing with me and I don't cry about it and I don't try to find out who it was either.

I find it incredible it has to be explained to you.

As a moderator one might of thought that involving yourself in such a way that supports abusive posts was a little outside of the role profile.

This isn't about people judging you or you judging others, it's about your judgement as a moderator. (Or lack of it.)

If you hadn't gone looking no one would have known. If you hadn't been determined to shit stir it wouldn't be an issue. Think about that when you wonder why some people don't like you.

Oh, it's my fault - apologies for looking, I didn't realise you were +1'ing abusive posts for the greater good in your role as a moderator.

And now 'people' don't like me. That's a bit non specific - you won't bully me lol

You really are excelling in your role lol

Perhaps address the racism thread rather than continuing to make a fool of yourself dishing out your own abuse in this one?

Webbo for Mod.

I think your job's on the line.

I bet he's shitting it.

Seriously though you don't want Mods who are restricted in what they do or post, they should behave exactly how they would if they weren't a moderator of the forum.

and yes the snitching on this board is getting like a Primary school playground.

Is that not a bit like the residing judge being involved in the murder?

No I wouldn't compare the two.

No idea how this guy thought he would get away with it.

http://news.sky.com/story/999569/lib-dem-candidate-for-parliament-guilty-of-fraud

A former Liberal Democrat candidate for parliament has been found guilty of 25 counts of fraud at Coventry Crown Court following a Sky News Investigation.

Dr Vincent McKee, 56, used his national tutorial agency, ICUT, to get clients' credit and debit card details, then he systematically raided their accounts.

Some of the fraud against students took place while he was running for election to become MP for Coventry North West in 2010, campaigning against tuition fees for students.

In 2010, Sky News interviewed numerous defrauded parents and students who claimed Dr McKee overcharged them after they had arranged private lessons through his network of tutors.

In December 2010 we posed as a client and arranged a £60 lesson with one of Dr McKee's tutors in London. Three days later Dr McKee had withdrawn £328.50 from our account.

The next day he attempted to take a further £225, but we had blocked the card.

This first investigation, broadcast in January 2011 in which Dr McKee denied the allegations, led to Dr McKee losing his membership of the Liberal Democrat party.

Shortly afterwards he began trading under a new company name, University and Academy Tutors (UAT). He also started using a pseudonym, Patrick Murray.
