Raj Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 When you refer to any music that has been released since the mid 1990s as "quite new". Curiosity killed the cat ruled!!!
ozleicester Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 When you fill in for a 5 aside game, and the young (21 year old) lad on the side asks "how old are you"? ...and then says... "wow, you are doing well to be playing at that age" I tell you what, if my back wasnt buggered and my knees locked up...i wouldve sorted him!

Alexikokopops Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 I think the day Football Manager actually uses my proper birthday rather than making me a few years older will be a sad day indeed.

AmericanScott Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 I think the day Football Manager actually uses my proper birthday rather than making me a few years older will be a sad day indeed. That wins

Corky Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 I do that and I'm only 22 I'm 24 and I do that regularly. You two need to stop watching Big Brother and Lab Rats, and watch proper TV like Mock The Week
Alexikokopops Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 You two need to stop watching Big Brother and Lab Rats, and watch proper TV like Mock The Week Don't worry, I only managed 5 minutes of Lab Rats before changing it. Has Big Brother ended yet? I want my television back.
General Smuts Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Alex just nailed it with the football manager thing. Shudders. I know i'm old when i have my own desk and phoneline and an email address which ends @ at a business. Ridonculous.
cisono Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 When you always say "Touch wood" All old people say that What's the latest generation's version? "touch plastic" ???
Corky Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 What's the latest generation's version?"touch plastic" ??? No, it's "wiv any lack son"
cisono Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 No, it's "wiv any lack son" Is there a somewhat posher version? That sounds a bit too street-like for me... (don't want it to cramp my style )
Corky Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Is there a somewhat posher version? That sounds a bit too street-like for me... (don't want it to cramp my style ) I still hear "touch wood", so I'd go with that
cisono Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 I still hear "touch wood", so I'd go with that Are you implying I should use old people's phrases?
Alexikokopops Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 It makes me feel a bit old to realise there's kids born in the 1990s who're legal to drink.
Corky Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 Are you implying I should use old people's phrases? Not at all, you use whatever you feel comfortable with
