Mickey O'Neil Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 I'm chuffed with the clean sheet as well. A very very good day
Babylon Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 Yeah but Levi Porter wasn't selected and we stopped attacked after the fourth goal.... i'm not sure Pearson knows what he's doing.
Darkzzz_ Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 Let's enjoy while we can. Why not. I hope we can keep this form up and show people we mean business. Come on Leicester.
jaspal1000 Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 Stearman own goal against Forest as they get hammered 4-0, Hume helps Barnsly defeat Derby with a "stunning goal", and Cty 4-0..... Gods a city fan today ..
Unabomber Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 Like I said in a few other threads exactly the same as this, Great day.
The Reverend Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 Why is it that with the OS pics, theres always about 7of the first goal, and the scorers celebration, and about 4 others? We have to have something to moan about!
Corky Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 What about the stupid contractual reasons as to why I can't listen to the match live over the Internet? Oh well, life goes on.
GloverFox Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 What about the stupid contractual reasons as to why I can't listen to the match live over the Internet? Oh well, life goes on. ... yes, I know it's L1 and not the Championship ... but it's great to have that 'winning' and 'enjoying it' feeling back ... it's just great ... come on City
Flynny Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 What about the stupid contractual reasons as to why I can't listen to the match live over the Internet? Oh well, life goes on. Its remarkably easy to listen to it online, were you in and about the match thread today?
EnigmaticFox Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 He's here, he's there, he's every f***ing where, Rodney Fearn, Rodney Fearn.
clazkel Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 It was a great day, the atmosphere second half was amazing. Felt sorry for Howard as he seemed really happy when he scored only for it to be disallowed and sorry for myself in the end as i had £1 on Leicester to win 5-0 at 100/1, but never mind the main thing is Leicester stuffed them!
lildave3 Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 It really was a fantastic day to be a Leicester fan.
LoughboroughFox Posted 31 August 2008 Author Posted 31 August 2008 And to top it off got 4 numbers on the lottery! £56 going to buy a few pints to celebrate today!
Daggers Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 ... yes, I know it's L1 and not the Championship ... but it's great to have that 'winning' and 'enjoying it' feeling back ... it's just great ... come on City I was saying before kick off that the difference in attitude on the pitch during warm-ups is palpable. Everyone down there is enjoying what they are doing - everyone is wearing a smile...especially when they are blasting balls high over the goal...lethal for those of us behind the goal in such a narrow and steep stand! That poor woman managed to milk her ice-pack injury for the entire game...I wonder if she was allowed to keep it as a souvenir? It was a great day, the atmosphere second half was amazing. Felt sorry for Howard as he seemed really happy when he scored only for it to be disallowed and sorry for myself in the end as i had £1 on Leicester to win 5-0 at 100/1, but never mind the main thing is Leicester stuffed them! He was going mental! I loved it when he dived into the crowd. It is brilliant to have a Leicester back. Brilliant.
Simi Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Apart from the train breaking down and making us about an hour late, it was very good. Topped off by a win at poker which gives me a lot of beer money. I've got a feeling Tommeh won't be so happy.
Thracian Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Yeah but Levi Porter wasn't selected and we stopped attacked after the fourth goal.... i'm not sure Pearson knows what he's doing. We actually scored five by my counting. The fact that the referee seemed to be operating his own handicap system is for him to explain. But from where I was sitting, which was almost as close as it could be, I have no idea why Howard's goal was disallowed. As for Pearson, few doubt he can lift us out of this division with the exciting team he's assembled but he's got a long way to go before I share your apparent undiluted faith in the guy. Especially if he's going to keep playing Dickov on the wing and Tunchev at left-back cos he won't often get away with that sort of caper at a higher level. I love what he's done so far but it doesn't blind me to his mistakes or eccentricities. Whatever we achieve in football will be capable of improvement. I am quite sure of that.
