You can't leave a story like that!! What happened?

Apparently I had a fruit machine thrown at me

It was a messy night but I don't remember much about it :)

remember loads of them games peterboro away, my mate set a fire in the end we all started singing weve got a fire youve not ! had half there ground that day and still got pasted 3-0 .

remember playing charlton at upton park took about 15000 had to invade the pitch as the terrace was dangerously over filling ran across the pitch and had to climb into the empty main stand fans running all over the pitch scoring goals with balloons it was a crazy time being a leicester fan. loved it every game there was something that happened barnsley away when joachim score that goal in the fa cup, the services got absolutley raped and pillaged on the motorway one thing that really sticks in the mind when we took a huge following we always seemed to lose no matter who we played! typical city good times though got goose bumps reading some of these posts ! the all time goose bump moment for me was when thompson equalised vs swindon after being 3-0 down at wembley the noise was deafining and it was absolute pandamonium everywhere you looked a sea of 40000 city fans goin beserk will never ever forget that moment!

Wasn't the best game but Brentord at home for 4 goals in last 9 mins after being two down was excellent, also very poignant being in away end at Hillsborough. Coach being bricked away at Coventry, Llincoln City fans running us out the place early eighties. Two fat Chelsea fans taking over pen2 and then getting well fooked! Paul Ramsey with late winner aginst leeds. Meeting Gary MaCallister near clock tower and trying to sell him insurance! Andy Feeley saying wages were shite out loud. Ali Mauchlen. Nuff said.

I honest to shit don't care how many times this has been posted in this thread so far.

That was my first ever live game and I was in the Double Decker as an excited 9 year old.

True story.

SeattleShane, I was there and saw that, I saw one of the blokes in a boozer in banbury after the game, I asked him about it and he just shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal. Mad as owt! Ha ha!

remember beating shewsbury in fa cup .remember when we had that good run under david pleat in second half of a season the trip to blackburn in that season and all the other away trips but the best one that season was middlesbrough away when we beat them in the last game of the season to stop them going up [put them in the playoffs] and getting locked in the ground for more than a hour because those ***** were upset. football in the 80s was fun and money was not that important great times through good and bad

So many memories of the 1980's how brilliant and terrible it was. But most of my early 90 memories are a bit of a alcoholic blur.

I do remember a night at Notts County around 91/92 where it seemed we had more fans inside the ground than the home team, it was Zenith Data Cup thingy, semi final I think, we won in extra time, it was an amazing night, we ended up losing to the other nottingham side in the final.

This was quickly supassed the same season when we beat Cambridge utd in the semi final play offs 5-0, which remains one of the best nights I had at filbert street and one of the best performances I've ever seen from Leicester.

remember the notts county game beacause it pissed it down all game and i remember one of our players was given a offside discion againts him from a throw in.the cambridge game in the playoffs was one of my top 5 games of all time for the performance and atmosphere great

This is what my old man says:

Ian Banks drinking John Smiths bitter dry that they used to put on the centre circle and Ian Banks running onto the pitch as sub, waving to the old main stand when running on, tripping over and then busting his leg, only to be stretchered off and waving to the crowd with his big black beard! lol

Big Bob Hazell chasing an opposition player around the pitch screaming like a zulu warrior to the point that the opposition would not go anywhere near the ball if it landed near Big Bob Hazell. Who throws petrol bombs? lol

Russell Hoult being called out of the stands eating his hot dog to go and get ready to play!

A load of City fans dressed up as Hare Krishnas (at Norwich???) and then kicking off...
