Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Where do you got that one from? That'd mean 18 out of 34 for Dortmund... And as far as I recall it, he's a bloody good shooter with a neat first touch. And... also plagued by injuries... Not questioning his ability, BUT the part he played in one of Dortmund's best seasons for years wasn't all that. He won't be missed much, as long as Dortmund can keep hold of players like Subotic, Hummels, and Kuba, they'll still have a very good team by Bundesliga standards.
CosbehFox Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Rangelov?Should be decent, don't really think Frei will be missed all that much, most of his goals were penalties. Didn't they sign from Argentina/South American striker too? As for Frei, he will remain a legend for his goal in last year's Ruhr derby.
Lillehamring Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 surely the tie of the weekend Wormatia Worms - SpVgg Greuther Fürth ...that must be made up

Frei will be dearly missed but they signed the top scorer in the world (Barrios?) from Colo-Colo in Chile....already scored for them in the cup. Think he'll do well.
lildave3 Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Forgot to post this - Fenerbahce won the Turkish Super Cup on Sunday after beating Besiktas 2-0. Alex with both goals, one a penalty and the other coming from an excellent Guiza assist.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Forgot to post - meaningless compo.
lildave3 Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Forgot to post - meaningless compo. Pretty much. But it all adds up to an encouraging pre-season. And an on fire GWEETHA.
Tevez Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 So who hasn't just rubbed themselves at Lazio's 2 goals vs Inter in the super cup. Come and get your dinner.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Loving the Bundes Liga already this season, Love the 1899 Hoffenhiem fans and the way they play. Didn't know much about them and read what they have achieved in the last 20 years and the last 5 alone is unbelivable. There new stadium is decent aswell

Jonezy Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 The Bundesliga is awseome! Maybe the league with the best atmospheres at the games, and its nearly always very competive in both ends of the table.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Haha Cos they had a chairman that was originally from hoffeinheim that is a multi millionaire. There fans are awesome and there is a waiting list for season tickets already
AjcW Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 The Bundesliga is awseome! Maybe the league with the best atmospheres at the games, and its nearly always very competive in both ends of the table. The only league that even comes close in terms of quality and style of play to the premier league. 2nd best in the world in my opinion.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 The Bundesliga is awseome! Maybe the league with the best atmospheres at the games, and its nearly always very competive in both ends of the table. I agree with this hope to eventually catch a game.
AjcW Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 I agree with this hope to eventually catch a game. Some of the stadiums over there really do defy belief dont they, that alianz arena is something else... can remember the mutv commentators creaming over it in the Audi Cup. Less than half the cost of wembley and 10 times better.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Less than half the cost of wembley and 10 times better. I remember reading some where that they get numerous construction companies all working together in germany for big projects.....don't know the finer details but would save money and time.
CosbehFox Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Bundesliga won me some money yesterday. Well Done Hamburg, Wolfy and Stuttgart.
AjcW Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Just turned over to espn after the liverpool game, catching a bit of schalke. The picture quality is like an internet stream but the football is decent.
