Having an absolute nightmare so far in the Championship, winless in first 5 games. :|

Players just aren't turning it on and I haven't got a clue how to sort it!

My Man City game is ticking along quite nicely. 11 wins from 15 in all competitions. Haven't really signed many people. Arshavin (who is pants), Vennegoor of Hesselink (who misses one on ones for fun) and Mattock are the only three I've brought in. The fans loved it when I signed Mattock and he's slotted straight into the back 4 with ease.

Bloody Darius Vassell won't bugger off though!

The new patch (9.2) has RUINED my long ball tactics :cry:

Stupid people moaning that long balls are too effective and lead to too many 1 on 1s on the forums :angry:

Is this that lame issue of goalkeepers and central defenders putting balls right down the middle through defences? I might go and install it if so. :P

It was funny in League One but it's annoying now I don't play hoofball.

That's a shocking defence, to be honest. How did you lose both Tunchev and Kisnorbo? Yet apparently not get money to sign new players? Unless it all went on Aaron McKean who you aren't playing?

You desperately need a good creative midfielder, a stronger partner for Morrison and a goalscorer that's going to last you a good few seasons. What's your budget?

Mark Randall is a great loan signing for the Champshionship. I've had him in three consecutive seasons, haha. Haven't played him much in the Prem, mind, a bit out of his depth.

I got £2,500,000 for Tunchev, He went to Birmingham, He threw his toys out the pram when I negotiated the offer and they turned it down, they put another bid, same price as the original offer and I decided to accept (Especially as I had very little transfer budget back then).

Kisnorbo, He was out of contract, I tried to renew, I failed, I accepted an offer of £500,000 from Bolton so I got atleast something back from him, then the bastard goes and signs a pre-contract with someone.

I spent £800,000 on McLean. I've tried him in my first few matches in the Championship, but he just ain't cutting the mustard.

As I said to start with before I sold Tunchev I had very little money to play with, Couple of hundred thousand I think.

Right, I'm off to the pub to celebrate Leicester's win, I'll be back to see people suggestions when I get back :giggle::thumbup:

There is nothing more annoying in this game than conceeding late goals and knowing it's your fault because you couldn't be arsed to time waste because you thought you were safe.

im really not surprised your conceeding goals with that defence! lol ask your assistant to find suitabe defenders available for loan!
