Not Sporting Lisbon as many refer to them. I see. Barca and Lyon looked like tough teams though. And to be pedantic, that's not what you called Sporting People also call it Ajax Amsterdam, AIK Stockholm or Lyon despite that not being their actual names.. So just go with the flow and call them Sporting (Lisboa/Lissabon) like everyone else!

Helder Barbosa is my current favourite player and form player of the season. Leads the assists charts, has something like 17 or 18 crossing which has also helped to rekindle Lewandowski's scoring since the signing of Suarez. Louis Suarez I am gutted about, it must be said. What a waste of money. He's delivered like 6.35 form for me this season - my first bit of genuinely bad business on this game.

He's my Christiano, as far as I'm concerned, priceless! I'd show you my 19.5m signing in contrast but I'm too ashamed, haha.

Hoping Marko Marin can have a similar impact too.

What more do you actually want from a winger? Time after time after time after time this has been my point with Football Manager. You don't need a team full of £40m signings to win the league, you just need the right stats in the right positions. And he's got the perfect stats for a winger. It's like Lewandowski - your scouts might tell you that the likes of, I dunno, James Vaughan are a better player - purely because they have silly speed - but Lev will score more per season. He can head, he can finish, he can jump, he's quite mobile and has good movement. The game's about ticking boxes. These boys do it. Edit: Oops, you meant the Czech lad. Thought you meant Barbosa, rendering that a slightly pointless rant. But ah well.

Ive just started my second season with them on my game. Managed to finish 14th in my first season after some shrewd signings in January. But if i hadn't had the 30 point deduction i would have got automatic promotion!

I'm trying to get David Silva now instead, no luck either. I've got money but a genuinely good squad - signed a defence of Wonderkids and world class on frees, have an amazing front line in a Russian regen, Lev and Falcao and just shit tonnes of money for nothing. Got in the Champions League so I don't even have to worry about debt. It's mad, I'm not used to this side of the game haha! Defour is the Flemmish AMC? Rings a bell, I think he's at Arsenal? I have a good AMC at the moment in Tales and I'm not signing ANYONE unless the game strictly says "Is better than your best attacking midfielder Tales" I want to sign a SUPERSTAR!
