So if I delete a team from BSN then it should work?

Was just wondering for those who have played as city what fees they have received for the likes of kisnorbo (if you got him to sign a contract) tunchev, mattock and what season it was when you sold them.

i got 5m for kisnorbo after i was promoted to the championship, so give me a little bit of money to spend

I'd have accepted that for Kisnorbo then, I think. A sound defence was instrumental to my League One success because I was struggling with my usual offensive tactics.

In the Championship I released all hell, though, and went with my usual gung-ho nature. Tbh I could have had a Blue Square North standard defence and sitll gone up, the amount of goals I scored! Heh.

In the end I kept him and kept him and sold him as a 31 year old to Livorno at the start of my fifth season for 1.5m, which still isn't bad as far as I'm concerned. Tunch is still knocking around in my squad as a reserve, he's just about good enough to get the odd game in the Prem when I need cover - even, again, as a 30 something. Mattock I haven't sold, he's been a Wonderkid, is capped by England and is my most consistent performer. Played 59 games for me last season as I won the UEFA Cup, League cup and came 6th in the league.

Challenging for the top 4 this year and he's still my top left back. Don't sell him.

Last question (maybe)

I've made my team up and everything and started playing.

I want to add a couple more players in now (it's still pre-season btw.)

I've added them in the database, but they don't show up in-game.

Thoughts? :)

I'm sure I read somewhere that someone had been adding players mid-game, I just can't remember where <_<

I don't know how people have got him to sign a new contract. Maybe you need a certain reputation as a manager? I was leading League One and around the January window, Hull and Fulham looked to sign him at the end of his contract, so I sold him when Bolton offered 400k. Didn't want to take the risk of losing him for nothing. Besides, Berner was perfefctly adequate at that level.

I don't know how got him to sign but i just kept trying and at one point he was wanting to discuss terms so got lucky really, my reputation at the moment is only regional so i doubt it was that.

I will try and hold on to my better players but will just depend if i ever need the cash but i agree about keeping mattock as i have seen some of the prices he has gone for on my other games

Haven't done too bad as Hinckledash manager. Just outside the play-offs and a couple of good cup runs. Get a link-up with City and play the loan market plus the odd freebie despite their ages they do a job. I think the promise of high bonuses works a treat at this level.

Download fmrte (football manager real time editor). I got no link, but you can get it from sortitoutsi.

You can't create players, but you can edit other players names & attributes to suit what you want to do.

EDIT - DB11 beat me to the punch......& with a link!

not really had uch time on fm recently but whacked it back on yesterday and today.

2nd season still with the mighty shots, sitting top of the league on 46 points after 24 games. in january currently. im in about 100k of debt but its not much.

managed to get knocked out of the leaue cup first round by bromley (played my youth team and shouldve battered them) but managed to get to the 4th round of the fa cup, beat bristol city, middlesbrough and took bolton to a replay where i narrowly lost. also got to the quarters in the jpt losing to leyton orient 2-1.

looking unbeatable at the mo my squad is great.

flinders, behonick

john halls, sean o hanlon, james tomkins (loan), j f christophe (loan), damion stewart, nic priet, dean howell, scott morrison

stephen ettien, mark bentley, andy monkhouse, andy ritchie (loan, quality), probst, brain carrigan, andy hughes, paul mcinnes (player of season so far),

joel grant (loan, just played firs game, quality player)

steve lovell, michael coulson (top scorer with 10 in 24, not great but i spread the goalscoring exploits), lee trundle (loan, again just played first game)

might leave next season though :( its sad but i need a new challenge i dont get any money if any comes in, might see who gets relegated to league 1 and maybe try my luck. fancy going to blackpool!

and just noticed i have the best away record in england. shocking home form though lol getting better though!

For Leicester I've just won 13 straight :cool: . Didn't even realise until I got a note saying it's a new club record :D .

When I click on the FM09 Icon it's not starting up, I don't think Steam is starting up either, I haven't got this disk in my Laptop (Which wouldn't be the problem anyway) but I haven't for a while and its been working fine.

When I click both the FM09 or Steam Icon the timer icon appears asif it is going to do something but nothing appears after that.

I'm sure there are several answers but has anyone had the problem or know why and how to fix it?

Have you tried.

Start >> run >> Browse for the Steam icon/ shortcut, click that. Then click run.

Just a quick thought......

Just tried it, Not happening. The egg timer thing appears then nothing happens.
