I've got money but a genuinely good squad - signed a defence of Wonderkids and world class on frees, have an amazing front line in a Russian regen, Lev and Falcao and just shit tonnes of money for nothing. Got in the Champions League so I don't even have to worry about debt. It's mad, I'm not used to this side of the game haha! Defour is the Flemmish AMC? Rings a bell, I think he's at Arsenal? I have a good AMC at the moment in Tales and I'm not signing ANYONE unless the game strictly says "Is better than your best attacking midfielder Tales" I want to sign a SUPERSTAR! I always end up like this. I get in the Premier League, signing loads of young Eastern European wonderkids on the way for cheap, stay afloat for a couple of seasons and then BAM they come good and I rocket up to the Champions League with loads of money and no need to spend it.

Leicester Played: 46 Won: 40 Drawn: 4 Lost: 2 Scored: 132 Conceeded: 19 Goal Differance: +113 Points: 124 League Champions League Cup Champions FA Cup Champions Not bad for my first season. I carnt belive Podolski & Martins only cost me £10m for the both, great bargin. Podolski is now worth £15.2m and Martins is worth £17.7m.

Podolski is now worth £15.2m and Martins is worth £17.7m. ahhh lma, i remember having this on ps2 (2000/2001) and you used to get like ronaldo and zidane on a free and i used to play as west ham, why i dont now but iremember putting in a cheat whereby you cant lose, you can draw nd win obviusly, so one game i put the cheat in and i was 1-0 after 89 mins, wondered what was going on, then mullins picked the ball up in my area, shot and scored! loool good times

Edit: Problem solved...............Barry Hayles signed of a free transfer.

morris1234 Posted 23 January 2009 Posted 23 January 2009 how long do board takeovers take? its been a month already and im struggling to bring anybody in for darlington, they are in about 800k debt so i cant buy anybody! the leagues gonna start in a week or so but as long as the takeover is done before the transfer window i should be alright until january. i need money!

Finnegan Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 I waited too long to buy Falcao, I can't remember how much I paid in the end - possibly about 17m? The most I paid was 19m, for Luis Suarez, who was an absolute flop. I was gutted. I got to about 2014 and all the players I was signing were regens, though, so I've started again with St. Pauli.
