I've got money but a genuinely good squad - signed a defence of Wonderkids and world class on frees, have an amazing front line in a Russian regen, Lev and Falcao and just shit tonnes of money for nothing. Got in the Champions League so I don't even have to worry about debt. It's mad, I'm not used to this side of the game haha! Defour is the Flemmish AMC? Rings a bell, I think he's at Arsenal? I have a good AMC at the moment in Tales and I'm not signing ANYONE unless the game strictly says "Is better than your best attacking midfielder Tales" I want to sign a SUPERSTAR! Tunchev

I have Defour, he's a very useful player for my title challenging squad, though atm I'm retraining him to play AMR. And Witsel is quality too, but I'm not looking to splash too much cash having just brought Marko Marin for £16mil, and a regen for £14mil.
JoeyB Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 I just started with spurs. First bit of business sent out Assou-Ekotto for 3.1M to Nantes and brought in Leo Franco as a keeper. Bringing in Kranjcar for 10M but deal is on hold if i can get Young for 15M + Lennon

Don't mean to shit on your dinner, though, but Man Utd are seriously toss on this game. Someone needs to have proper words with the researchers because Arsenal are unstoppable and Man Utd have been mid-table every season for me. Stupid. The one thing that winds me up the most about this game is the realism in CPU generated results. Newcastle top 3, Reading top 6, Man Utd 10th? Arsenal win 36 out of 38? Silly, silly. When teams play me they seem to be realistic. I beat the shit teams, lose to the good teams. When teams play each other it's like they draw straws.
