If he finished the chances he gets in a game he would have the potential to become world class. His finishing leaves alot to be desired.

I wish people could remember that we are all Leicester Fans and come on here for some mild entertainment and yeah a laugh with some mates, I do not like this bickering you make yourselves look like Americans! He was shocking when he first went to Arsenal - maybe that's why you think he's overrated

Yes, we all hate him after what he did against us for Portugal, but last season he was the best player in the world. He virtually won Yanited the title last season. Without him, Chelsea without a doubt IMO would have won it. At the end of the day, Messi is an excellent player, but he didnt (and couldnt) win Barca the title single handedly like Ronaldo did last season. I've watched Messi many times. He has the skill, the pace, and the ball sticks to his feet. And he can score goals. But there's one thing that he doesnt have - genuine strength, because he's only small. This is what Ronaldo does have. Real power. Look at the size of him. Now i'm not saying Messi isnt strong, he has a low centre of gravity, and is hard to get the ball off, but he isnt as strong as Ronaldo, and never will be. Things like that are the difference when we are talking about world world class players. I also dont particularly like Messi's diving, but Ronaldo's the same. There's also one thing Messi did that really annoyed me - when we played them in a friendly or something, he had on his boots 'Hand of God'. Why? Is that an acknoledgement that he is a cheat like his fellow countryman Maradona? It was a strange gesture, and to be honest i dont like the kid. Saying that i dont really like Ronaldo either, but in my honest opinion, i think Ronaldo is a better all round player, all things considered.
