Darkzzz_ Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Crazy.... I take my hat off to Fabio and the players, they have just got on with it and really done a great job. Excellent stuff. I don't say this to often, just before my birthday as well.... NICE!
lildave3 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 But Walcott can't do anything other than that productively. He has no end product HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I love you Joe.
purpleronnie Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I've been banging the drum for walcot since last november, although lets face it it didnt take a genius to figure out we needed a change, but even I didnt expect this. It Irratated me all those so called experts who said he should be dropped for more experienced players. We had those b4 and look what happend. Well done england, with scotland winning too its a good day.
poynton blue Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Is this friendly piss taking or real piss taking?'Cos if it's friendly then I know I've made a mistake, but it's the same as people saying Rooney needs to be dropped. If it's real piss taking then: Just having a laugh Your a taticle genius
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.I love you Joe. He really has to eat those words.
Mikey Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Just having a laughYour a taticle genius Oi. I won 7 cups in one season on Football Manager.
Webbo Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Well done england, What's up with you? We're winning you know.
Joe. Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 He really has to eat those words. Tonight I am. But I still stand by my points. One game doesn't change a player. Full credit to everyone out there tonight, especially Walcott. Getting a hat trick is a fantastic achievement at any level, let alone on the international stage. Good performances from Rooney and Heskey too which was pleasing. Great result, much, much better than we've seen for some time.
lildave3 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Fantastic result, i'll look forward to these highlights later. Sounds like Rooney was good, which is good to hear. Even though I wouldn't have played him tonight. As for Walcott, his selection was well and truly justified, everyone who doubted him has been proved to be a fool.
Mikey Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Great result. MOTM Walcott for his hat-trick but Rooney close by after a outstanding display. Back four were sound, and Lampard and Heskey both gave good performances.
Tilley Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 "Croatia 1-4 England, How good does that sound?!" Ed Chamberlain.
Joe. Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I would like to also say well done Wes Brown, a very solid game at right back today.
Jimmy Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Great result.MOTM Walcott for his hat-trick but Rooney close by after a outstanding display. Back four were sound, and Lampard and Heskey both gave good performances. Lampard was solid, which is a big improvement, I'd still pick Gerrard ahead of him though
The Stig Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 As for Walcott, his selection was well and truly justified, everyone who doubted him has been proved to be a fool. To be fair before the game he didn't do a hell of a lot to suggest he should be put in the side so anyone who suggested he should be dropped could be forgiven.

As has everyone who said not to play Rooney, just not to the same extent as he didn't score 3 goals but had a hand in 2 and scored 1. Including you.
Joe. Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 To be fair before the game he didn't do a hell of a lot to suggest he should be put in the side so anyone who suggested he should be dropped could be forgiven. Exactly, that's bollocks Ben.
Corky Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 What a fabulous performance. We played very well even before that thug Kovac got sent-off, and it was great to see the team playing with confidence and flair. Well done lads
lildave3 Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 To be fair before the game he didn't do a hell of a lot to suggest he should be put in the side so anyone who suggested he should be dropped could be forgiven. Why? He did a good enough job on Saturday. And he has pace, will run at people and has that fearlessness (is that a word?) that youngsters seem to have. [/b]As has everyone who said not to play Rooney, just not to the same extent as he didn't score 3 goals but had a hand in 2 and scored 1. Including you. Yup, sounds like he well and truly answered his critics. But he has been playing poor lately, Walcott hadn't
The Stig Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Exactly, that's bollocks Ben. Who the hells Ben?

This is something we can enjoy, but I just hope the whole country doesn't get carried away as usual. England played well, but Croatia did let us play and they were so poor. I think they spoke to much before this, they beat us before the game so they thought. Let's hope we can keep this form going.
Corky Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 How composed was Walcott with all of his goals? Looked so calm and sure of himself.
