syston_fox Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Yeah nasty challenge. Cant be any complaints with the red card in my opinion.
Jimmy Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Ok it was a nasty cut, but you don't get up, walk a few paces then go down again do you?! you do if ur concussed and dizzy
Father Ted Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 And the way Sky are reporting it, Simunic could soon be off too - he can't seem to be able to handle Heskey's physicality.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I personally don't think it was a red card. The height difference is evident there, it looked bad slowed down but it was never a swinging elbow assault like some you see in football. You need this luck sometimes though, I often question what you can and can't do now a days in football.
Mikey Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 What a goal !!!! Rooney instrumental, and a great finish by Walcott. THEO
Tilley Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Wow, This is turning out to be a great result.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Great goal. I am England's biggest critic and I loved that football involved in that goal. Good stuff.
Tilley Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Away from home, this is great. I honestly thought we would get taught a lesson.
poynton blue Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 : I think we should have played Beckham instead of Walcott. I know Walcott will get in behind the defence but Beckham just adds that experience and is a much better dead ball deliverer than anyone else on the pitch. And this is a game where dead balls might be vitally important for England.
Mikey Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Great tackle by Cole, great play by Jenas and great finish by Rooney. Rooney has played very well tonight, answered the critics.
Father Ted Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 And all those criticising Rooney Rooney is one of the most underrated players on this planet. Man U have never won when he doesn't play. He is such a vital player for any team and people don't understand that!
Mikey Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 : Is this friendly piss taking or real piss taking? 'Cos if it's friendly then I know I've made a mistake, but it's the same as people saying Rooney needs to be dropped. If it's real piss taking then:
Jimmy Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 And all those criticising Rooney Rooney is one of the most underrated players on this planet. Man U have never won when he doesn't play. He is such a vital player for any team and people don't understand that! fook off he's overrated, this is the 1st time in years he's done anything for England
City Fan Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 That link is fecked. If anyone has sopcast, go on Shanghai GSports - it works but obviously some Far Eastern commentators!
