lildave3 Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 That's lovely news on the silver spoon!! I see they are on about expanding the league on the website if they have enough interest. Yeah I saw that. Perhaps there is a possibility we could be in the Prem next seaosn after all..
Sly Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 Yeah I saw that. Perhaps there is a possibility we could be in the Prem next seaosn after all.. They could actually have 12 teams in each league. Thid year was mean't to be a trial, I suppose they'll want some feedback from us at some point.
Sly Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 Manny, Are Legends dropping out of the Wednesday League? XXL are as £18 is a silly amount to pay!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 Manny,Are Legends dropping out of the Wednesday League? XXL are as £18 is a silly amount to pay!! prolly more to do with fact that they're all hitting their mid thirties now anyway We aint Legends outdoor we're Deportivo. Dunno, maybe, intend to send a text around but I think most are content to continue for awhile. Depends on weather we stay up tonight or not (need to win really) If we go down I think the lure of Crystal Trophies and Champagne will be too much (should be a banker considering the wank that currently makes up that league, no offence as your withdrawing) However I hear you can't cancel your games without stupid amount of notice, i.e you have to pay £18 if you don't get a team. First time that happens to me they're getting my notice of withdrawl! We are much more likely to be withdrawing Indoor when they take that over in May, with playing in the morning the lads on occasion are injured/tired/drunk/can't be arsed which is half the reason we never do anything. That's and we don't get a team 4 times a season at least. lost two this season through not turning up only other blip on our record is drawing with you. Obviously I'm not going to be paying £70 a season in cancelation fee's so will be looking for a big commitment or we'll be packing it in. That's gonne be £18 as well btw.

Heah, I'm still on this side of 30!! Ah, Deportivo lack ability!! I heard they wearn't taking over indoor? Not that I exactly pay that much attention to what's going on down there.

Sly Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 They are in April, assuming the fixtures go to plan.14-0 win and safety secured last night We won 3-0 in what was most deffinately my laziest performance in a five a side game ever. I still managed to bag a couple though so all good. I've have come to the conclusion that the bottom league suits me more on a Wednesday as I get older, as after a hard day at work I can be really lazy and stroll around. They are in April, assuming the fixtures go to plan.14-0 win and safety secured last night GOOD RESULT BY THE WAY!

They were garbage, netted 5 times . You think the 1st division is bad now you wait till next year a couple of stinking teams are coming down, will have one decent team who will win about 9-0 every week due to the general shitness of the rest of the league.

Well, with Leisure Leagues taking over I think they'll only have one league as they won't have enough teams for two!
CosbehFox Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 Won 15-4. Easiest game in ages...even I bagged twice including a half-volley. Perfect start to the new season.
dandannieldanok Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Finally the weather's abated and we're back playing. Won 1-0, which was deserved, although I ran out of steam very very quickly.
lildave3 Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Finally got to finish our season, lost 4-1. We're shit.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Leisure Leagues = robbers!!! first impression I aint happy with this takeover, considering switching to Measham as of next season as that's the only league they aint got their grubby mits on yet.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 How'd you get on? Won 9-0. Could easily have been double that. I'd had three pints of Stella and two glasses of red wine so me shooting was a bit off. Ridiculous decision to merge the leagues will mean we spend half the season pounding teams who shouldn't be in the same league as us.

lildave3 Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 I love relegation. Epic performance and fun tonight, won 8-0 on our first game back in Division one And we collected a wooden spoon!
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 Considering getting back in to 5/6 a side I'd offer you a deal but I'm guessing we're too far out lost 4-2, couldn't get a team again and had to play with four men.
CosbehFox Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 Considering getting back in to 5/6 a side I am thinking the opposite. Too many jumped up kids looking for a royal rumble and clusmy rugby playing donkeys. 11-a-side is a world away bar the odd nob.

Id fancy the St maggies league as Bert has recomended but being on a sunday nights a bugger after playing in the morning
dandannieldanok Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 Won 4-1 yesterday, played really well with our midfielder and striker running the show.

All the dicks get removed straight out of the league. There are a few utter twats there, but you're always going to get that.
