GloverFox Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 Either way, one cannot but congratulate the club for this marvelous move. Really, Really pissed off with this one ... was bringing a whole truck load of mates up from Somerset with me and the lad (so the lad and I could really enjoy the return trip back down South!) ... and had booked in for a visit to see me Gran and to take all the boys out for a 'proper' good curry and night out back on 'my' home turf ... (in fact the mates are more pissed off about missing the night out ... reckon they knew they were in for some stick all the way back home after a good hounding (hopefully) and wanted something else to jap about!!) ... I understand the Clubs reasoning, but this is disappointing a lot of folks and dropping the gate revenues significantly ... ... bloody mid-week reschedules ... totally brassed-off!
leicesterseddon Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 Recent quotes from Nigel Pearson state that he beleives we're fortunate to have a big squad. Obviously not big enough, or capable of, playing a game of football without 3 players, all of which cannot be seen as key players for the 9 games so far this season. God help us when we get injuries!! What happened to squad rotation, trying new formations, players etc. With limited reserve games, we have got to bring through other players. Also, like many on here, I live over an hour away from the ground. Another Tuseday evening rush to get to the game and a late retrurn for my son on a school night is not encouraging. spot on
samlcfc Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 I cnt go to Tuesday nite games due to working so this is another game I now miss. they really are twats
Leicester Rule! Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Looks like Peterbrough away will be a night game then too .......
morris1234 Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 we have oldham the game after aswell, remember what happened last time we postponed a game. millwall do!
Rich Fox Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Who is responsible for calling this game off? If it is pearsons decision he should be sacked immediatly, this negative cautious attitude will ruin our season and we have suffered enough calling off the colchester game. Whos to say we wont have injuries when its replayed and are we really pissing ourselves at the prospect of facing yeovill.
James. Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 If it is pearsons decision he should be sacked immediatly Epic.
Sods Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Looks like Peterbrough away will be a night game then too ....... Oh that would be awesome.

Corky Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Great. Same here. So annoyed. I passed up the chance to go to Wembley on the 11th October to see England, choosing my club first. Now no Leicester match and I can't go to Wembley. Now we know what the monthly benefits for season-ticket holders are.

Honestly, I wish he would make up his mind when he starts going on about the size of our squad.

I am loathe to criticise Pearson, I think he's been a breath of fresh air for our club. I suppose I'm just frustrated really that for once we are playing good football, yet some of our matches are being re-arranged when it seems possible for them to go ahead on the original date. I know when I buy season-tickets that we will have midweek matches, I accept that as part of the fixture list, it just annoys me that more are being moved to midweek and it will have a detrimental effect on our attendances, and maybe on our team. I hope not though.
Maybes Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr Bloody tuesday fixture!!!
Tommeh Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Looking forward to seeing the Yeovil lads, all 3k of them all up for a proper ruck and bit of banter.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Looking forward to seeing the Yeovil lads, all 3k of them all up for a proper ruck and bit of banter. At least now Covscum will be late home from work with all the tractors streaming up the M69 at rush-hour.
Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Hmm great - three almost impossible to get to Tuesday matches in November.
andyh1884 Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Hmm great - three almost impossible to get to Tuesday matches in November. Daggers, do you want a lift? I'll be travelling over from Brum city centre for this. Via the Slade Road area isn't too much of a detour
Chrysalis Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 my opinion is having games in hand and of course been further down the table without the points on the board gives those above you a mental advantage, bit of a shocking decision by the club.
LE5 Chris Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 I have tickets to see Motorhead/Saxon at De Montfort Hall that night, I went ahead and ordered them because we weren't playing. Whoever made the decision to move the game is a twat, I thought we were supposed to have the strongest squad in the division.

Tilley Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 A nice cold November evening watching Leicester vs Yeovil, couldn't think of anything better. <_<
MC Prussian Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 A nice cold November evening watching Leicester vs Yeovil, couldn't think of anything better. <_< Imagine how pleased the Yeovil fans will be...
Alexikokopops Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Hooray - yet another delightful treat for season ticket holders.Supporters of the other clubs in this league must be well pissed off that they don't get matches robbed from them and placed midweek to ensure they can't make them. I'm getting very sick of this pissy club. Recent quotes from Nigel Pearson state that he beleives we're fortunate to have a big squad. Obviously not big enough, or capable of, playing a game of football without 3 players, all of which cannot be seen as key players for the 9 games so far this season.
