JakeShingler Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 This is good news for me.I'm going on holiday on Thursday 9th for a week, means I won't miss the game. Lucky you.
Joe. Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 It's quite good news for me actually. Means I can go to my university open day (yes, another Saturday open day) now.
lildave3 Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 It's quite good news for me actually. Means I can go to my university open day (yes, another Saturday open day) now. Just how many universitys are you planning on going to?
Joe. Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Just how many universitys are you planning on going to? Just the three. But they all happen to fall on Saturdays.... Shockingly planned.
Daggers Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Hooray - yet another delightful treat for season ticket holders. Supporters of the other clubs in this league must be well pissed off that they don't get matches robbed from them and placed midweek to ensure they can't make them. I'm getting very sick of this pissy club.

Based on the wording of the quote in the original post I would say it was a request, I can't imagine who else other than LCFC would make such a request The Football League has agreed to the postponement due to the fact that Alex Tunchev has been called up for Bulgaria's World Cup qualifiers against Italy and Georgia, while both Andy King and Nicky Adams are expected to be named in the Wales U21 squad for their game against England.

lookwhaticando Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I wonder which peabrain is making this request?
Asha Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 This annoys me. We can easily cope without the three of them.
RowlattsFox Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 This annoys me. We can easily cope without the three of them. You are right but say we agree to play this game and then Morrison and Hobbs get injured or sent off against Huddersfield meaning they'll miss the Yeovil game. Then we'd be short of centre backs. People that blame the international break for the defeat to Millwall are just looking for excuses.
davieG Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I doubt Yeovil fans are that ecstatic about a trip to the Walkers on a Tuesday night in early November and it now means that after this Saturday against Hartlepool we don't play at home again until 21st October even then it's a Tuesday night.
Munzie Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Recent quotes from Nigel Pearson state that he beleives we're fortunate to have a big squad. Obviously not big enough, or capable of, playing a game of football without 3 players, all of which cannot be seen as key players for the 9 games so far this season. God help us when we get injuries!! What happened to squad rotation, trying new formations, players etc. With limited reserve games, we have got to bring through other players. Also, like many on here, I live over an hour away from the ground. Another Tuseday evening rush to get to the game and a late retrurn for my son on a school night is not encouraging.

Bloody hell.

Looks like I'll just have to drink extra quantities in the Swan this weekend then
Mark Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Thought part of the reason for posponing the Colchester match was because we were due to play 4 away games (2 cup) in a row? Well now we've got 3 league away games in a row against Colchester, Huddesfield and Oldham, all very difficult. Well done whoevers thought this up.
Corky Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I see that King and Adams are expected to be picked for Wales. What if one of them isn't? Then we've cancelled it for no reason. If we are both knocked out of the Fa Cup in the first round we could play it on the second round weekend I suppose.
MC Prussian Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Either way, one cannot but congratulate the club for this marvelous move.
