Bert Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Leicester City's League One fixture against Yeovil Town at the Walkers Stadium scheduled for Saturday, October 11 has been postponed. The Football League has agreed to the postponement due to the fact that Alex Tunchev has been called up for Bulgaria's World Cup qualifiers against Italy and Georgia, while both Andy King and Nicky Adams are expected to be named in the Wales U21 squad for their game against England. A rearranged date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course whilst tickets already purchased for this match will remain valid for the rescheduled encounter
James. Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Really necessary to postpone? A defender who we have adequate cover for. A midfielder who we have adequate cover for. A midfielder who isn't a first team regular.

A midfielder who isn't a first team regular. I said that, too, when the Colchester game was postponed for the exact reasons. With all due of respect to Yeovil, they're hardly Manchester United. I'm sure we can cope without those two starters and that one bench warmer.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Really necessary to postpone?A defender who we have adequate cover for. A midfielder who we have adequate cover for. A midfielder who isn't a first team regular. You missed the fact that the rest of the squad also want to watch England play, live on TV, that in itself is more of a reason to postpone!!!!
Corky Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Absolutely brilliant. Just what I wanted to hear. Another home match I'll probably miss now
Huuuuume Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Not necessary IMO. Now it means we'll have two midweek games when there would not have been one. Also we'll probably have two games in hand and sitting in 8th place in the league won't look pretty. Has Colchester Away been rescheduled?
Bert Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 You missed the fact that the rest of the squad also want to watch England play, live on TV, that in itself is more of a reason to postpone!!!! Yet, England don't kick off until 17:15 that night.
AmericanScott Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I was planning on going to this one. I get paid the day before so my plans have hit a snag. As long as they don't take Walsall at home on a Tuesday night from us, i'm happy.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Yet, England don't kick off until 17:15 that night. Pre match build up is the best bit Bert!!!!!

As long as they don't take Walsall at home on a Tuesday night from us, i'm happy. I see no reason they won't. Both of our games against Walsall are Tuesday nights this season. Oct 21st game though = Bert's 21st.

MC Prussian Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Taking away 50 percent of the reason why I had booked a flight for that date!!!
Dr The Singh Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Only kiddin mate, if i'm invited out, and her highness let's me out, i'll buy you a beer!!!!
JakeShingler Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 So this will turn in to another crapy tuesday night game.
MC Prussian Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Bloody international break - and we've done alright so far, even when Tunchev wasn't even featured!!! Well, I'm not going to cancel the flight. Too much hassle and I'd be missing out on beautiful Leics - JUST WITHOUT THE FOOTBALL!!!

Ric Flair Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Pissed off with this. It's time King and Adams broke some sort of curfew whilst on International Duty and get dropped for a year.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 You. Are. My. Hero. You'll find that i am a hero and a love interest to the majorityof people on this planet!!!
demon_dog Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 This is good news for me. I'm going on holiday on Thursday 9th for a week, means I won't miss the game.
MC Prussian Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 You'll find that i am a hero and a love interest to the majorityof people on this planet!!! Does that make you cosmic and orgasmic at the same time???
