This is quite true. The santa in the new one is really freaky. It is blatantly CGI in so many ways but from certain angles it looks real. Its scary, i dont like it.

Oh stuff it il admit im excited too :)what does everyone think they are getting? or want to get? :chant:

Shiny new sports car, please. Don't worry, I won't expect you to wrap it. ;)

It's not Christmas until the Coca Cola advert comes on.

THE best Coca Cola advert of all time.

Amen to that brothers.

I don't start generally thinking about Christmas until mid November really.

I really enjoy the christmas period though, even now I'm not a kid anymore.

But for me there's nothing better than seeing your loved ones happy, and being with them.

Same. I remember starting a thread a few years ago with the VERY same title in mid November time.

It died on it's arse. Bloody fickle'uns.

Anyway, yeh, I love getting gifts etc (who doesn't?!) but it genuinely is the family aspect of it that I love.

Which is also a reason why it has gone downhill for me in recent years. :/

Is that because you're "lost..." and can't find them? :sweating:

I was trying to sound like an impressive male, so everyone would stop and go wait i wanna be like that Man and stand up and make a change to themselfs! i wanted to make a difference, yes a change! (feels like i'm about to go into Rocky 4 speech mode here)

So anyhow as i can't be assed and i wanna be a true caveman style male can i now proceed to unbutton my jeans, fart, burp and maybe even toss off to some extremly hardcore porn? all at the same time of course and i'll fit in the Christmas shopping aswell

You've probably never been a trader. Many people spread their Christmas buying over a period and it's no use getting stock in when others have already started attracting the customers and taking their money.

With higher priced items people often put a deposit down and pay over a period, especially in today's climate.

Unless it was a sleeping competition. I would win that easy.

Driving home from Leicester at about 4.30 this morning and I past a house with full-on Christmas lights and 'ornaments' in the front garden. I honestly thought I must have fallen asleep and be dreaming it so I rubbed my eyes but, no, it was still there in it's neon-bright techni-colour glory. It's only the beginning of November, ffs! :nono::frusty:
