Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Hayles sounded reasonable on the radio, better than Fryatt anyway. Can anyone comment please? I wasn't there.

syston_fox Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 If it's for a blog, then i'll render it ok. Just.P.s, don't forget my mention this week Yes boss! Gotta update it tonight, and then do Man City v Stoke when I get home tomorrow night so that there's not a back log. Brighton will have to wait till friday at the earliest though!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Everyone except for Kissa and Fryatt, where shite today. Really? From what I've heard (and read on here), Fryatt was woeful.
syston_fox Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Hayles sounded reasonable on the radio, better than Fryatt anyway. Can anyone comment please? I wasn't there. He did ok and looked willing to get stuck in. Not the best footballer by any means but he'll give it his all and look for the pass as he knows he can't take the world on, unlike Fryatt who would shoot from the half way line if he could see the net!

Matt Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 This whole week has been frustrating, and not only because we haven't won any games but because we have played fairly poor. I said we needed to win today, again though (like after Tuesday) looking at the table it could have been alot worse, that is not the attitude to have but it is fact. What's done is done, Soon we won't be so lucky, we'll play poor, lose games, and other teams will take advantage. Hopefully we can draw a line under this week and start a fresh starting against Brighton! I still say communication is the key, and at the start of the season we had some - The most I have seen our players shout, talk, gesture, the last few matches I have seen none. Ah well a win on Tuesday and this week will be forgotten - That's easier said than done though!
syston_fox Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Really? From what I've heard (and read on here), Fryatt was woeful. He was. Ash is trying for a reaction so take any comments he makes with a pinch of salt

Tommeh Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 :laugh:I'll take this with a pinch of salt, yeah. fook off you moronic piece of shit its thanks to people like you we're struggling, booing Tuesday night against Walsall just the sort of confidence booster the players needed really wasn't it? And now let's all boo again today its like a fooking pantomime. Thank fook for away games as everything about a home game, the atmosphere, expectancy, goal music, performance and 20,000 moaning ****s is a shambles! Apologies till, meant to quote the guy you quoted!!

Is that at me? or Ash? EDIT: S'ok.
Milky Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 The atmosphere was poisonous. I'm beginning to wonder how many leicester "supporters" actually deserve any success.
lildave3 Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 You reckon the pennies finally dropped now and Fryatt is no longer convinced he's Ronaldo?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Is the window for loans still open?
maddog Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 We were absolutely shocking today, anyone that didn't see that is blind. It was just as bad as the previous 5 seasons. We have a solid defence with back up decent defenders like Berner who came on, Powell, Morrison. We have no midfield. Oakley and King play every match and i never notice them. Never do i say wow what a great attacking pass by Oakley or King to our strikers. They are pretty useless and with Clem out and Weso out on loan we have a problem there unless Kishishev can play. Howard remains not a footballer. All he can do is win the headers which he does well, but with no decent players around him it normally goes to them or comes to nothing. Fryatt hasn't changed, he's still just as shit as he was, the only reason he's scored a lot more goals is because in this shit league he gets loads and loads more chances than in the Championship, and in most games has missed a few before scoring. We are struggling a bit now, we need some pace upfront we are lacking it with Fatty and Fatty and even Fatty Hayles who came on, Dj Campbell and Dickov would be no worse, possibly better, recall Weso from his loan and get Kishishev on the bench. We need to sign a new striker in the transfer window certainly, a good one for this league. Gradel looks average now ever since he got his new contract with more money, same with King who was never that overwhelming to begin with when he earned his new contract, now he's poor. So is Oakley. Or defence is great, keepers poor but with such a good defence the ball is gone before he has anything to do, but midfield and strikers need sorting apart from Lloyd Dyer. Brighton away on Tuesday, at the moment i only see a draw at best unless we can get some players back. Id even play Clemence now, but he must still be injured. Maybe he could create something in the middle ,King and Oakley are useless.
JoeyB Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 i would rather go through a bad patch now and still grind out results than go through a bad patch later and loose tho'.........

Because at work when you perform shit you get a bollocking you tit.
Tommeh Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Is that at me? or Ash? not you, that would be harsh!!
Webbo Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 The atmosphere was poisonous. I'm beginning to wonder how many leicester "supporters" actually deserve any success. Too true, it's much better on here.
Bert Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 I think if King wasn't championed as much as he was, he wouldn't get half as harsh ratings as he does, but he was dog shit today. So he scored (which didn't count) and made one good pass. What about all the times he sloppily gave the ball away?

Narborough Bod Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Another frustrating afternoon at the Walkers. Tbh, today was better than Tuesday nights effort against Walsall, but come on... missing TWO clean through chances... We should have had Northampton buried on several occasions. Same old shit though, no confidence in the strikers. Still, it's a draw, it's not the end of the world, but our promising start looks like it's starting to slow down a bit now. League One teams know our game, and they're comfortable in stopping us playing it. Until Nigel does something to rectify this, the draws will keeps on coming, then the losses, then goodbye promotion. ON A REALLY SERIOUS NOTE THOUGH: To the people 'boo-ing' the players... go the fook home. Don't even bother leaving your house. Save your £20 fooking quid and sit tight, on your sofa and boo at the radio. You bunch of ignorant ****s. City smash it up-field and you moan when they lose the ball. City play it amongst the back four and hold onto it, you moan. You're a pack of fooking idiots. You have no right to come to the game and boo, just because you spent £20. Stop spending the money and stay the fook at home. Boo-ing isn't going to boost any morale, or any confidence. Instead of drawing games, we'll lose them. Then we'll be in League Two, then you'll really be crying your little eyes out. GAH. I'd love to slap every one of you. Dicks. Thick stupid twats who should fcuk off. By all means chunter to yourselves, but do you really think booing helps the players??? And as for the 'I pay my money so I have the right'...save your money for December and go to the Panto every week so you won't look like such twats. CAN SOMEONE WHO BOOS PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS IS EXPECTED TO MOTIVATE THE PLAYERS!! Decent second half, crap finishing, competition for places up front will change with Dickov back from injury and building up fitness. Roll on midweek. Mercury + Boo Radley = **** - anyone else read it?
