Kilworthfox Posted 26 October 2008 Posted 26 October 2008 Is he being consistently overlooked in the starting line up? The man guarantees goals! I wish we had 11 of him then we would never have been in this mess in the first place, I think we need a song about him.... any ideas???
Simi Posted 26 October 2008 Posted 26 October 2008 Yeah, seems like Barry Hales has not been in our team for like forever Must cut down on sarcasm.
Samilktray Posted 26 October 2008 Posted 26 October 2008 Barryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Lovejoy Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 I don't know really, but personally I reckon Barry Hayles is a better option .
Thracian Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 I doubt Hayles has got 60 minutes at a time in him let alone 90. IF the 4-5-1 option doesn't knit our team together, which I think it will then I'd sooner see Billy McKay out there. He's full of running, a great team player, he can shoot and he can pass. Hayles looked like a passer-by when he came on against Northampton. If he really was the answer he'd surely have been selected far more times than has been the case so far since he arrived, whether on the bench or otherwise. He's another yesterday's man. Don't we just love em!
Thracian Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 Aint it Hayles not Hales? You can understand the problem. He's still a stranger!

Don't we just love em! Yep, totally agree, but for the moment he's all we've got! As Billy McKay has been nowhere near the first team bench, I doubt Pearson will be as bold as to try him any time soon. I've a feeling that we'll be waiting on the fitness of Dickov & DJ before we see a change is our strike force. Hayles may well get a few more cameo appearences in between.
Wycombe Fox Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 ...I think we need a song about him.... any ideas??? How about; One Barry Hayles, There's only one Barry Hayles, One Barry Hayles, And that's one too many
keefox Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 barry hayles ???? only useful for catching practice for the blokes in row z ! though i may marginally prefer him to dj dumbell !?!
James_lcfc Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 I can't believe people are even considering Barry Hayles as a viable option. The man is absolutely awful, literally one of the worst players I've seen in my lifetime. I'd rather go with Matty 'needs 10 chances to score' Fryatt or ANYONE from the youth team. Heard Billy Mckay's name banded around, has to be an option if we're that desperate as to suggest a starting birth for Hayles.

James_lcfc Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 You have been reeled in Oh and its hayles who ever started this!!!!! I did think that it might be a 'joke' thread! Glad it is to be honest, if fans seriousluy started calling for his inclusion, Pearson may have to relent!. Which would signal the end of our promotion challenge.
Tevez Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Hayles changed the game Saturday, gave us a different dimension to the 4-4-2.
