Phube Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 That's just brilliant! Should have been a post in the "there they're their" thread Do it!!!
purpleronnie Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Bet those Spurs fans that walked out early are absolutely gutted. True, leaving early is something I can never get to grips with especially after paying the high prices thesedays. If they were 4-0 down I can maybe understand, but even then I wouldn't leave early, I would at least stay to the end and boooo.

Maybe it was the 250-mile trip home
Joe. Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Fanzone commentary!! Highest pitched male voice ever.
potter3 Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 I think there's a fair bit of exaggeration surrounding the Bentley goal. That's what I thought, Almunia should have done better too.
shen Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 That's what I thought, Almunia should have done better too. anyone got a link to the goal?
Milky Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Fanzone Fat queen. It could've been one of his greatest moments....but oh no.
Nugent Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Fanzone commentary!! The Spurs bloke is a dead ringer for Steve Howard.
act smiley Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 I think there's a fair bit of exaggeration surrounding the Bentley goal.It was cracking, yes, and he should be applauded for having a go - but it could just have well gone anywhere. In the last few games he's blazed some howlers all over the place from range, when you try as often as he does you're going to nail one eventually. "One of the best of all time" is a bit of a stretch. Was it astronomically better than some of Matty Taylor's "recent" efforts? As much as I loathe the ****, Beckham's vs. Sulivan was still the ultimate distance lob. So much more measured, calculated. A one yard tap in would be the best goal of all time if it was scored for Spurs.
