PAULCFC Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 F.A.O Thracian.........Mcauley's didn't do a bad job for us and is only 26......and i don't think you can moan about ngotys contribution to the team!
Lovejoy Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Simon Whaley would be an excellent signing for Leeds. I'll reserve judgement IF we are to sign Edworthy. It's not fair to dismiss players before they've even done anything .
Koke Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 He'd be a terrible signing, unlike Chris Powell, Edworthy wasn't particularly good in his prime. It's even worse when you see the gossip just below this: "Leeds are poised to sign Preston winger Simon Whaley on loan." Now that would be a cracking signing for League One, better than Gradel. Simon Whaley would be an excellent acquisition for Leeds. But I fail to see any logic in him dropping down a division. As for Marc Edworthy - I won't judge him just yet.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Wasn't Edworthy at Palace and didn't he bring down Muzzy for the penalty in the Claridge play off final? Jeez, that was a lifetime ago! I'd have thought he'd be tucked up in a rest home by now.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 WHY do we need a right back in the first place - we had a team of them last season! How did we get rid of them all???
Ric Flair Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 I fooking love Simon Whaley, that will be sickening if he goes there. I wonder whether Pearson actually wants to strengthen the team and Mandaric isn't allowing him to, or he's happy with what he's got? We are painfully thin on central midfielders and general bizzle quizzle goal scorers.

Mandaric has gone on record to moan about the cash situation at City, he's not willing to part with any extra money at the moment imo. I think we'll have to sell before we buy in January as well, not a great prospect.
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 On the plus side, I'll be on the Desperados tonight.
