MADLEVEIN Posted 15 April 2005 Posted 15 April 2005 seeing as we aint going to achieve anything this season who would you prefer play along side connors up front for the remainder of the season ?
filbertway Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 I would usually say de vries as dublin seems to be a better defender but we have nothing to gain or lose so, i went for dublin up front.
Anish Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Out of the 2 choices, it should be Dublin - but ideally it would be neither.
Wellman Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Dublin for me. He wins so many more headers than De Vries and Dublins improved so much through out the season. Keep him on next year I reckon
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Ann Widdecombe or Sonia from Eastenders. How is a boy to choose?

step Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Start with MDV up front and dion in defence and if needed take of MDv and put dion up front
Anish Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Start with MDV up front and dion in defence and if needed take of MDv and put dion up front 93542 Not 'if', more like 'when needed'. <_<
Matt Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 I voted de Vries yesterday, I couldn't have been more wrong could I? FUK OF MARK DE VRIES OR IMPROVE QUICKLY!
Ricey Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Dublin did more upfront today for the last 10 minutes than De Vries did all game.

Steven Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Has to be Dublin. It seems Levein is too stubborn. 93694 It will be a test of CL's management.
TrickyTrev Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Has to be Dublin. It seems Levein is too stubborn. 93694 It made sense to start with him after his good performance against Millwall and to a lesser extent Wolves. Levein could have subbed him today but I undertsand why he made that decision I wouldn't have subbed him. He would only have had a confidence destroying round of boos that wouldn't have done anyone any good. If you ask em he played better than Tiatto and Connolly, who is the one who should have been subbed, but the crowd do not get on their back as they are fans favorites.
Little Nicky Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Tiatto was absolutely sh*t today, why he got rapturous applause when he was subbbed is mind boggling, De Vries was also awful, as was Conners but what did we have on the bench that was approved and could scored goals - the answer = naff all, something seriously needs sorting next season with our front line as I feel that if we could score regularly the problem of conceding silly goals would fade away! Levein it's a busy summer ahead me lado!
step Posted 17 April 2005 Posted 17 April 2005 There was a couple of occasions when dion and connelly linked up quiet well. something we aint seen with connelly before
foxesfan69 Posted 17 April 2005 Posted 17 April 2005 Bladdy Tomassi at this rate 93490 I agree.Give young Tomassi a chance
Wellman Posted 17 April 2005 Posted 17 April 2005 Bladdy Tomassi at this rate 93490 I agree.Give young Tomassi a chance 93849 True, Tom has been knocking on the door for a long time now!
Katy Posted 17 April 2005 Posted 17 April 2005 When Tomassi is unavailable due to work commitments, I would plump for Dubbers up front, De Vries either needs to ship up (get fit and learn to head the ball) or ship out!!!!
shen Posted 17 April 2005 Posted 17 April 2005 drop De Vries and Connolly and play Moore up front alone...
stez Posted 17 April 2005 Posted 17 April 2005 dublin i suppose, but he was out jumped regularly yesterday.
