1st half against Yeovil best home football this season

The title says it all

We passed it around nicely, closed them down quickly. But to be fair Yeovil were absolutely diabolical, arguably the worst side ive ever seen come to Leicester.

+ Whos going on the ultimate nasty League 1 away day - Carlisle. Middle of December, 200 miles up north to a poor ground, its a harsh day i'd be very interested to see how we get on in that game.

How Yeovil beat Oldham 2-0 in their last away game defies logic. Perhaps we just played really well. We'll lose other silly games this season, but despite a sticky run we're top, and I'd like to think we can get better in the months ahead. Particularly if someone can get inside Max Gradel's head and help start playing well again. Not many teams would fancy him and Dyer running at them at full steam on either flank

It has every charictoristic of the nasty away game, if we sell out the 1,500 we have been given then we deserve medals.

I'd agree it's probably the best we've played at home but they were so poor that it was more of an achievement to play well against MK Dons.

Same applies to the second half at Cheltenham, they were garbage. We played well in the second half at Stockport without scoring and really well at Hartlepool in the JPT. We were also good in the second half at Colchester and possibly the first half at Brighton.

At home?
You were there mate. Was it at the Walkers?

Oh Shit.

<_<

Bastardos.

I just loved that game. Was quality. Best Home game football wise - Mk probably.

We play the better football away actually I think.

Yep, Colchester being the best one I've seen. Better than virtually all the home matches.

Whaddon Road

I know

Which makes it slightly disturbing that we only scored the once against them.

We may be grinding out wins at home this season, but I've yet to see a really convincing performance of the type we produced against Watford, Cov and Norwich last season.

Best City performance or worst away performance? yeovil were crap. We were not much better, if you watched Spurs last night vs Liverpool that is howa side should play!

Understatement of the week!

I was not at the game but from what I read and hear we absolutely owned Yeovil first half, but still only managed 1 goal. I could understand the lazy cruise through the second half were we 2-3 up but playing like that with just a single goal advantage is asking for trouble. (ask anyone who was at Brighton) Really not sure if it was NP's instructions or the players who were at fault, either way it has got to stop

On a more positive note, the shake up in midfield seems to be having some effect, maybe it is time to turn our attention on our strikers!

sounded good against yeovi lbut i wasnt there so i cant say but coventry last season at home was the best home performance ive seen in ages. mk dons was decent but they did knock it round very nicely if i remember.

No it was simply the worst away team.

Even so, it was the best football at home this season.

Let's be honest, we've not been playing scintillating stuff at home have we.
