stulcfc Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 4-0 easy win for the boys fryatt brace oakley and dyer
surrifox Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I idn't know that you win the FA Cup in the second round. where does it say that?
Joe. Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 This probably won't be as easy as some of you think. Don't get me wrong, I think we'll win, but not by some of the margins discussed. Crewe haven't won in a long, long time (11 games?) and haven't won away at all yet this season in the league. With us at the top and with us who we are (MASSIVE club) they'll want to come and give us a good game tonight. Therefore I'm having £1 on Crewe to win. Still, 2-0 us anyway.
EnigmaticFox Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 3-0 Fryatt, Dyer and Howard Most of football chat is just about possibilites and endless speculation. The future doesn't exist, and it is fruitless trying to predict it. The match will result in one of three possibilities; we will win, lose or draw, or the match will be abandoned! Each team will either prodice a goalless or scoring draw, or we will win or lose any combination of goals, ad infanitum! May the best team win (as long as it's us)! Forget the specualtion and just enjoy it Thus endeth todays sermon!
James. Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 The match will result in one of three possibilities; we will win, lose or draw, or the match will be abandoned! ...... You might want to learn how to count before preaching on here sir.
EnigmaticFox Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 ......You might want to learn how to count before preaching on here sir. Nope not preaching at all. Just observing! And.. 3 possibilities: win, lose or draw. As well as possible abandonment! Simple 11+ maths.
Tommeh Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 It's got 1-0 crewe written all over it really. Remember Rotherham in 2004? Just praying we win though, It'd be criminal to follow up a great win at scunny by dropping points in our own back yard to anybody in this division.
Craig Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I just hope it's a better game than that Carling Cup game back in 2003 :please:
He's not bald Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 It's got 1-0 crewe written all over it really.Remember Rotherham in 2004? Just praying we win though, It'd be criminal to follow up a great win at scunny by dropping points in our own back yard to anybody in this division. This is a nailed on nil-nil.infact to ease the frustration (and the cold tonight!) I'm putting a fiver on it
Joe. Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 Nope not preaching at all. Just observing! And.. 3 possibilities: win, lose or draw. As well as possible abandonment! Simple 11+ maths. Erm. 3 + 1 = 4. Basic 3+ maths...
James. Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 Nope not preaching at all. Just observing! And.. 3 possibilities: win, lose or draw. As well as possible abandonment! Simple 11+ maths. You're digging yourself a very big hole.
Alexikokopops Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 1-1 I think. We are going to win in the cup on saturday and that would be 3 on the spin which will never happen so ..draw tonight I idn't know that you win the FA Cup in the second round. But I'm pretty sure you can win in a cup competition in the second round... Nope not preaching at all. Just observing! And.. 3 possibilities: win, lose or draw. As well as possible abandonment! Simple 11+ maths. 1. Win 2. Lose 3. Draw 4. Abandonment
Scow Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I'll get it in before anyone else does: Pearson Out
lildave3 Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I want a nice relaxing, entertaining, comfortable win.
maddog Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 We are playing the worst team in the league at home, they lost 3-0 at home to Stockport at the weekend and we beat 1st place away 2-1. On that basis we should be winning this at least 3-0. Its going to be freezing 2nite and i won't be happy unless we go out there, keep playing for 90 minutes and beat them comfortably 3-0. If we score early then stop playing like the yeovil game i won't be happy.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I can see a frustrating draw tonight, sadly. I hope I am wrong and we win. We need a couple of goals in quick sucession and to take our chances. I want to be positive for this one..however, if we don't nick an early goal (as many expect us to) I can see the home crowd getting nasty as usual. I will go for the draw as well. I'd really like to see the team devlelop a nasty streak tonight and give them a good panning. I've moved to block K for this one!
Unabomber Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 Going down from Uni to this, so with funds extremely low and all that we better win.. and make it worth it.
davieG Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 I keep thinking this thread is an Alexikokopops pre-match motivational talk on where to get pissed.
