I'd love to see us give Crewe a rollocking. Since 2000 when I started supporting Leicester the biggest win has been 4-0.

Don't think it will be that easy though. They'll put all men behind the ball and battle for a point.

I think 1-0 again, Dyer.

The Boss speaks

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson insists he will not be fooled by Crewe's lowly position in tonight's top v bottom clash at the Walkers Stadium (7.45).

City took over at the summit of League One following Saturday's tremendous 2-1 win at former leaders S****horpe.

Now the task is to stay there, and Pearson admits that will not be easy despite tonight's visitors Crewe suffering a traumatic season.

They are bottom of the league, without an away win and without a manager after Steve Holland left the club last week.

Director of football Dario Gradi has taken up the reins at Gresty Road on a temporary basis, but Pearson is taking nothing for granted.

He said: "They have changed their manager, the team is fighting for its life and you underestimate them at your peril.

"I am sure it will be a tough game for us, but it is an opportunity to capitalise on Saturday's win.

"It is another three points up for grabs, simple as that, and it is a case of keeping working towards where we ultimately want to be.

"On Saturday, we came away from a top-of-the-table clash with maximum points. That is satisfying, but let's put it in perspective.

"I am as calm when we are winning as I am when we lose, and we have to remain focused like that all the way through."

It is so tight at the top of the division that, depending on tonight's results - MK Dons are at home to struggling Hereford, while S****horpe are at Tranmere - the pack could be reshuffled again.

Four points cover the top seven clubs and Pearson said: "It will probably be like this all the way through.

"It is very difficult to pull away in this division because I would say there are possibly eight or nine clubs who feel they have got a realistic chance of getting promotion.

"That in itself presents a difficult task in that your level of performance has to remain consistently high if you are to keep winning games.

"We can't worry about what everyone else is doing. We have to concentrate on ourselves and make sure we do our best to win our own games."

Remember Brighton hadn't won at home when we played them.
