dandannieldanok Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Pleased to see we're trying to pick young players from the lower leagues/non-league and moving away from signing has-beens past their prime.
Hackneyisblue Posted 4 December 2008 Author Posted 4 December 2008 This is what wiki have to say about him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aman_Verma Can't work out from that if he is a replacement for Fryatt or Howard.
JakeShingler Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Any one know what he's like? any good? This is what wiki have to say about him.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aman_Verma Can't work out from that if he is a replacement for Fryatt or Howard. I just read that
RowlattsFox Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 I'm pretty sure he played in my sunday league team years ago, was good at the time but never thought he'd be professional. And he also he wasn't a striker then, centre midfielder.
Uncle Albert Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Fairplay to the lad. If our trusty scouts have spotted him then I can't complain.
Bert Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 I'm sure no-one knows hardly anything about him, so we're going to have to trust the management's judgment on this one. Remember, he hasn't actually signed yet, but if he does, I hope he does well for us and proves to be a good signing, if not, we won't have lost any money (except wages) on him, so it can only really be a good signing for the club.

You night be right, according to this he has been playing as a stand-in striker recently but is really a midfielder. http://www.redditchadvertiser.co.uk/sport/...ed_by_Robinson/ Simon

Dr The Singh Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 quite agree although I thought that at the time we signed Josh low Well he come on trial and obviously made an impression! With the lack of reserve team footy, he will hav a hard job making it into the first team though!!
Milky Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Sounds like he could be Asian Perhaps if he's good it'll encourage more of the asian community down the walkers.
Babylon Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Sounds like he could be Asian Perhaps if he's good it'll encourage more of the asian community down the walkers. Well I hope he's been taken on merit and not as another publicity stunt... besides, with Dr The Singh we have enough asian for everyone.

Dan Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 He's either going to be a Michael Kightly potentially reaching the premiership and possibly leaving the club for £3mil+ or leaving the club on a free transfer at the end of the season for not being good enough. I pray hes as good as Kightly
Sir Fynwy Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 He must be good if he played for the greenbacks (Beduff United)
