whitlock Posted 7 December 2008 Posted 7 December 2008 My old man, just come back from taking my younger brother to play rugby in Rugby and was told by some bloke that Hendo has turned down a 3 year contract at City and is heading back to Ozzy either this week or next! This bloke is helping Hendo move apparently, works for a company, helping move to houses abroad. Don't know what to think really?

Sounds a bit far fetched to me esp. when knowitall was saying Pearson didn't rate Hendo. I'd only have give him a year or two.

I'm not sure how it compares to the level of football here but surely it must be equivalent of League One standard?

Funny enough, I met a bloke down the pub whose dog had told him the same thing. He'd also been told that Gradel is returning to the Ivory Coast. Apparently he's put all his football wages into buying a trawler to become a professional fisherman there. Similarly, Tunch's injury yesterday was a decoy. He is really retiring to Bulgaria, to open a hotel in the Black Sea port of Varna. Meanwhile, Dickov is quitting football to return to his Scottish roots - he's in training to become a professional highland sportsman, tossing the caber... I bet your rumour's true, now

Fulop played for Sunderland in the Premier League yesterday, so would surely only want to move anywhere if he thought the new manager didn't fancy him, I'd have thought... and if he did, there might well be others offering a higher level of football..

dhermon Posted 7 December 2008 Posted 7 December 2008 I'd be totally shocked if this was even half true seeing as there are only 7 rounds left for the season not including finals add to that Mark im a cokehead bosnic cannot get a full time gig hendo has even less chance of getting picked up so late in the season EDIT :- By the time the window opens theres only 3 games + Finals left

The A-League runs through our summer so leaving in Jan would be during their pre-season and would make sense for the new club, he is easily replaceable and despite people criticizing Martin we have only lost once in the league with him playing
