SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Try to take one a day but haven't had one for a long time may start again tho
The People's Hero Posted 16 December 2008 Author Posted 16 December 2008 In my opinion, they are brilliant.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 In my opinion, they are brilliant. Do they give you back your b b bbbbounce
AoWW Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 I'm sure I've sung Berocca's praises before on here. Fantastic stuff.
Daggers Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 I'm finding Chateauneuf Du Pape is far better
Guest Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 What's it supposed to do? I feel no different, apart from the piercing head pain I get from the artificial sweeteners they've put in the bloody things.
Guest Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 I started taking this recently. Gives you bright yellow wee
Uncle Monty Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 I agree with the wee comment, try taking a piss in a urinal and look at the other blokes face when he sees your pissing radioactive piss. Also i feel no different at all, i reckon they are merely placebos
The People's Hero Posted 14 January 2009 Author Posted 14 January 2009 Placebo or not, I swear by them!
Monk Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 Berrocca is a fantastic marketing exercise for some dissolvable regular vitamin tablets. They are hugely overpriced in comparison to other brands. I picked up some with roughly the same vitamin content for 99p at Tesco last week, and it had more in the tube! Berrocca are really tasty though ina freaky kind of way.
James. Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 Placebo or not, I swear by them! Yes. In fact I have noticed a reduction in colds/general illness since taking them. They end up a bit expensive but they're worth it.
Ric Flair Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 This has just pranged me out. I have been feeling ill for 3 weeks now and have soldiered in to work today. My boss has said I should go home, they also said I should go over to the shop and get some Berocca. So I have done, i've just taken one and then ventured on to Foxestalk to find this thread at the top o' the pile. I'd never even heard of the muck before today. Freaky.
Guest Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 In fact I have noticed a reduction in colds/general illness since taking them. They end up a bit expensive but they're worth it. This is the reason that I am trying them out. I am sick to death of colds. Someone at work swears by some vitamin C/probiotic sachets, but they make Berocca look like penny sweets in comparison, and I am very tight.
Alexikokopops Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 How are they any different from other vitamin tablets? Apart from being a million times the price?
Monk Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 I'm suprised you don't get some kind of discount on them!
The People's Hero Posted 14 January 2009 Author Posted 14 January 2009 I have tried the rival ones (supermarket own brands) and noticed no difference but at the end of the day, I like the taste of Berocca better! Saying that, I was rushing this morning and didn't take one. Works out quite expensive over a month - but there again, how much would you pay to feel 10/20% better each day? If it helps me fight off the bugs which are going round - great. I feel pretty run down a lot of the time due to the fact I'm very busy - which is probably true for 90% of people... Berocca seems to have helped a little.. although I still do throw in the odd generic supermarket brand pro-plus to keep me going?

Things that disolve in water are generally WRONG
The People's Hero Posted 14 January 2009 Author Posted 14 January 2009 I'm a bit of a girl when it comes to taking tablets, I have to chew them up. It's pretty disgusting.
James. Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 How are they any different from other vitamin tablets? Apart from being a million times the price? They give you about 1,000,000% of your RDA in loads of quality vitamins. Generally the tablet ones only give a pussy 100% or something. They're vitamins for the HARDCORE. Oh and they do tablet versions.

And are a lot cheaper. HAVE THAT BEROCCA
James. Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 The tablet ones I have give you a billion trillion % too. And are a lot cheaper. HAVE THAT BEROCCA You're lying. BEROCCA TIL I DIE Oh and your plan... looks good. I will be getting a train from South Bermondsey at 18:52 arriving in Thornton Heath at 19:18. I will meet you at the station hopefully. I won't be steaming. However I am up for a pint at the Wetherspoons on arrival at the Heath.
Katy Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought someone was being daft about Barack Obama. Are these like a healthier version of red bull or something as I've never heard of them before?

I reckon he's still hoping that James Chambers is going to score from one. They're big vitamin tablets that you put in a glass of water to disolve. I had the Tesco MAN version of these last year and I offered my mate one and he just grabbed it and ate it before I could say anything because he didn't realise it was meant to be disolved. It made his stomach tingle.
