That might give me reason to purchase a new laptop (mine is fast approaching three years old). And I'm a sucker for buying new stuff I generally don't really need. The question is, should I charge her interest at typical retail credit rates (around 7% at present) or a little more? She's poor, and her credit history is shaky, so I feel the need to protect myself with an extra couple of percentage points. Thoughts?

With a poor credit history I would dump her. She will never afford to keep you.

Again, interesting observation I have heard from a couple of male friends. That's what it may look like from your viewpoint. Sometimes, what happens is that the girl is interested but also not too sure how interested and perhaps not too sure the guy is not a bad boy (perhaps some would like a bad boy instead, not sure) or she may like some side of you but hate another. In any case, girls have lots of things (thoughts, emotions etc) going around in their heads, mostly at the same time. If guys (as it seems) have generally got one single thought (drive), then you are just lucky because things are much simpler (even clearer!) for you. I wish I were a boy... PS: Of course, I am not talking from personal experience, particularly not relating to recent events

Had I been speaking from recent experience, I could have told you how I have fancied this guy for a year but on some level I also think he's no good for me. I am sure he thinks I have been teasing him and has no idea how crap I have been feeling. If you have mixed feelings, isn't it likely that this will show in a messed up kind of way (inconsistent behaviour)? Congratulations on finding one of the (apparently) few sane ones on this planet

A girl I was really into and my boss did the business in a sleeping bag while i was 'sleeping' on the sofa after work's Christmas party. It would have pissed me off under any circumstances, but that he was also a mate and he knew how I felt about her made it ten times worse. So what did I do. I ignored it as best I could, waited until she left in the morning, got up, woke him up by repeatedly kicking the sly b@stard until he begged me to stop. He was married, which was the best thing about the whole mess from my point of view. I knew his wife, and now knew his dirty secret, meaning no disciplinaries whatever I did, or didn't do at work from that point on. I also ended up shagging this girl. It wasn't very good. So, in a strange way, I win.

She read the text paniced and legged it out the house. My 2 mates had a laugh about it, we just give them both shit about it.

Me and a few lads had been round someones house warming up for the party with some good ol' fashioned drinking games, and all of us were suitably wa**ered. On the way to the birds house for the party, one of the lads told us he was well in with some chick and he was having her tonight, and told us not to try owt. Anyroad later on when everyone was completely off their faces, I was in the kitchen spicing up the punch a bit when said female walks in and starts flirting outrageously with moi. Now this bird is pretty hot with a monster pair of baps, and fook was I tempted, but I resisted temptation because my mate fancied her. I don't know if I made the right choice or not; he's none the wiser and I ended up pulling her best mate. Question is I suppose, had it been the other way around, would he have done the same? Btw, I'm particularly proud of this as I tend to be a randy f**ker when I'm crunk .
