Every game Im putting Tunchev to score first. Great odds for a man who can head it like no other.

I want Hobbs to score.

All I want is Hobbs and Tunchev to play together.

I never thought I'd say this, but Tunchev's downfall is his versatility. He has never been given enough games to establish himself as that heavyweight CB that he is. But now that Berner is in, we won't see Alex at LB anymore.

Yeah, I forgot we had no replacement for Gilbert. Unless people consider Luke O'Neil to be ready for 1st team football.

Tunchev looks like a bat.

i agree he's a bit wooden and willowy some times and stinks of linseed oil , but that goes a bit far

I still think he looks a bit shaky, probably mainly down to the communication thing but also he's not the quickest and sometimes relies on being overly physical. Hobbs is still the pick of the three for me, although he was poor against Millwall. It's excellent to have three good centre-backs though, keeps them on their toes and I expect Hobbs to come back stronger for being dropped. All three are incredibly dominant in the air which is perfect for this league.

Inclined to agree especially about his speed over a short distance fast forwards tend to get to the ball first and he then has to be a bit more desperate and physical to retrieve the situation.

I also think his heading is a bit suspect he certainly decent at getting there first but yesterday when under no pressure most of his headers end up in no man's land or with the opposition.

I'm developing a theory re Morrison I'm seriously beginning to believe he's been instructed to hoof the ball up to Howard; veryoften it looks like it's all orchestrated with a few passes across the back to eventually leaving Morrison in space with all the time in the world to do anything with it but the whole team is set up and standing there waiting for the long ball to Howard.

As an aside I've also noticed that the more games Martin plays the less he's passing the ball out and the more he's hoofing it to Howard losing the only real advantage he has over Henderson.

Which leaves me concerned that this is all down to Pearson :dunno:

I also think Hobbs looks the best of the 3 at the moment it's a real shame he's not ours.

I think Pearson has Morrison as his number one centre back. I think he's the only player to have played every minute of every game this season.
