Guest Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 We are the champions, champions of the Sun hate poll The acronym isn't as catchy.
Leeds Scum Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 See, this is a nice discussion. When you get your head out of the past, you talk some sense. I had a few drunken idiots lob a few insults my way when leaving the stadium, but it didn't bother me whatsoever. Although I was suprised at the lack of policing. No one is doubting your great away support, as I wasn't impressed with your home support by any stretch of the imagination. You do probably sell out every allocation you get (I don't have facts & figures) but going back to your point earlier, I think our following was mightily impressive for a Monday night game in the middle of January which was live on Sky. Again i have to disagree with you, 800, whether it was on sky or not is not a great turn out........by Leeds standards. We will take our full allocation to Oldham in march, about 3,500 i believe, and that is on sky. I realise oldham is fairly local for us, and not a trek like yeovil, but we will sell our allocation anywhere in England, whether that be on sky or not, or 3pm on a saturday, on 7.45, on a tuesday evening.
StanSP Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Leeds Scum. You have no life. Do you realise how you are the only one to come on here and attempt to berate us? And to be honest, nothing is really gonna work (unless you be racist, which is like second nature to you lot). Admit it - we're better than you.

Hasn't someone already mentioned you only took 600 to Yeovil? Or has that conveniently slipped your attention?
JoeyB Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Hasn't someone already mentioned you only took 600 to Yeovil? Or has that conveniently slipped your attention? Im not 100% sure its what some yeovil fan told me on monday night tho'
Leeds Scum Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Serious question how are you a bigger rival to man united than man city?? Trust me there isnt that big a rivalry between them, well notfor the Scym fans anyway. We have far more history with them going back to the 80's terrace culture, most scummers will class them as there 3rd biggest rivals behind us and the bindippers.
Corky Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 The acronym isn't as catchy. At least it's fact, unlike others

You didn't at Northampton earlier in the season. And that's a lot easier to reach from Leeds than Yeovil is from Leicester.

Leeds Scum Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Im not 100% sure its what some yeovil fan told me on monday night tho' Cant be arsed finding the stats, but im fairly certain we took around 2,000 there at the end of last season, and as for this season i know for a fact we sold our allocation.
Leeds Scum Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 This doesnt show our away support but shows Huish Park record of over 9,000, this was when we were backed n=by around 2,000. http://www.leedsunited.com/page/MatchRepor...3~37389,00.html

You and hewittinspain are related aren't you?
Daggers Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 [/b]And as for boxing day, by Elland Road Standards it was a fooking disgrace. Partly due to the 7,000 + part timers that came out of the woodwork, for believe it or not, our biggest game of the season. Although i was in the kop and honestly only heard you guys three times. Must admit, I knew we were loud but I never thought we'd have been heard on Merseyside. Well done us.
Leeds Scum Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 You didn't at Northampton earlier in the season. And that's a lot easier to reach from Leeds than Yeovil is from Leicester. i think youll find we did. We took more the week before in the cup, but we still sold our allocation in the league even though we took less than the week before. I was there for both games ffs!

I can understand your rivals on a geographical basis and yes probably had a lot of history on the "terraces" but surely a club a stone throw away is a bigger rival. Like saying there isn't a rivalry between bristol rovers and city.

Still not going to go up this season are you! Your still living in the past like the forest fans are, yes you may have been in Europe 7 years ago, but you fooked in up and are no an average league 1 team so **** deal with it!
Leeds Scum Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Must admit, I knew we were loud but I never thought we'd have been heard on Merseyside.Well done us. ill think youll find most clubs will have a Kop end, maybe not at your plastic, characterless, souless crisp packet.

CosbehFox Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Problem being the top of the league is you get all these village clubs coming onto our boards and trying to make out that a bunch of near-misses constructs something of a historical legacy yet they are afloat from the play-offs NOW. 18 points cushion from the great unwashed. We have 3,300 of his type coming down on Saturday - take the banter better than Lids though and for some reason are bringing more to Leicester than they did to Helland Road.

What exactly is your point?
Guest Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 ill think youll find most clubs will have a Kop end, maybe not at your plastic, characterless, souless crisp packet. And Bellend Road is a cauldron.
