Huuuuuume Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 By my calculations, I reckon we will hit 101 points... 17 games remain, 10 wins (30 points), 4 draws (4 points), 3 defeats (Unlikely ) So 34 points plus the 67 we have = 101 What do you guys think? More? Less? Anyone else done some maths?
dandannieldanok Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 That seems a pretty reasonable prediction to me, I think I'd go along with that.
maddog Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 If we carry on as we are we are looking at 105 points+
StanSP Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 By my calculations, I reckon we will hit 101 points... 17 games remain, 10 wins (30 points), 4 draws (4 points), 3 defeats (Unlikely ) So 34 points plus the 67 we have = 101 What do you guys think? More? Less? Anyone else done some maths? Who do you think the 3 defeats will be against?? I don't want to get complacent, but after tonight's performance, by the sounds of it we are unstoppable.
blue blood Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 yes i have already predicted we will surpass 100 points. we are too good for this league. surpassing 106 points has to be the aim.
Salieri Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 By my calculations, I reckon we will hit 101 points... 17 games remain, 10 wins (30 points), 4 draws (4 points), 3 defeats (Unlikely ) So 34 points plus the 67 we have = 101 What do you guys think? More? Less? Anyone else done some maths? I hadn't done any maths but that looks more than likely! I've tried to remain cautious but fook it, WE ARE GOING UP!!!!!! 100+ points would be an added bonus! So chuffed. Nigel Pearson.....
Huuuuuume Posted 3 February 2009 Author Posted 3 February 2009 Who do you think the 3 defeats will be against??I don't want to get complacent, but after tonight's performance, by the sounds of it we are unstoppable. Unstoppable indeed! I was just being more negative than realistic when I said 3 defeats. At the start of the season I would have said Leeds and maybe MK. But now?? It's gonna take a couple of injuries to disrupt the season. (We're still waiting for a slump in form, right?!?! )
Legend_in_blue Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 To get to 96 points, my unofficial target, we need 9 wins, 2 draws from the next 17. We can afford to lose 6 games from 17? As I said in another thread, lets all have a party at the MK Dons. We will cement our promotion there. Feb 28th. Mark it in your diary. And over the past 10 seasons, on average, 85 points are needed to go up in 2nd place. We only need 17 points for that. 5 wins and 2 draws from 17? You're having a laugh!
Pegosteve Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Anyone know what the record is? Just found out 101 points by Fulham 98-99 and 92 -93 was the last time you needed more than 86 points for automatic promotion.
Asha Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Who do you think the 3 defeats will be against?? I still think Millwall and MK will do us at their place. We'll still easily win the championship though.
Smudge Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Anyone know what the record is? 106 Reading 2005/6
foxaholic Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 By my calculations, I reckon we will hit 101 points... 17 games remain, 10 wins (30 points), 4 draws (4 points), 3 defeats (Unlikely ) So 34 points plus the 67 we have = 101 What do you guys think? More? Less?Who else will beat us apart from MILLWALL Anyone else done some maths?
STUHILL Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 I think anything is possible with this team. I'm so used to being disapointed over the last four years, that I'm always worried we might go wrong, but every week, they go out, play well and Win. Reading's record could definately fall this year!
Ultra Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Beat Leeds to get promotedwin the title, that is the dream.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Beat Leeds to get promoted, that is the dream. Presented with the League One trophy in front of the Leeds fans before the game. THAT my friends, is the dream.
RAFRUDY Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Presented with the League One trophy in front of the Leeds fans before the game. THAT my friends, is the dream. That WOULD be AWESOME!!!!!
Huuuuuume Posted 3 February 2009 Author Posted 3 February 2009 That WOULD be AWESOME!!!!! and in front of SKY on Easter Monday. The Championship will be quaking in their boots!
Finn Claw Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 13 wins gives us 106 points. That gives us a 4 game margin of error when aiming for the biggest points total ever. Lets 'av it!
kimsalabim Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Let's just get to 85 points (We will easily go up with that...) and then let's talk about Reading's Record... I think we can do it, but the main focus is to get promoted...
lildave3 Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 106 Reading 2005/6 That's in the Championship. Think the record for League One is 101, but not too sure who has it.
