StanSP Posted 17 February 2009 Posted 17 February 2009 Fisher Athletic are the first Conference side to hire a female manager. Having worked as a turnstile operator, she raised money for the club, and then was rewarded with the top job. She picks the team for her first game against Eastleigh. And she is certainly going to do things her way. Eastleigh boss thinks it 'devalues the league'. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...onf/7894496.stm What do we think guys and girls?

StanSP Posted 17 February 2009 Author Posted 17 February 2009 Cherie Lunghi was the first. In that case, BBC have got it wrong: Club turnstile operator Donna Powell raised £500 for the struggling club and was rewarded with becoming the first woman to manage a Conference side.
