Off to Paris on the Eurostar on Friday for the weekend. Anyone got any tips of where to go, where to eat etc.

I went 20 years ago but cant remember much. We are staying in St Germain so fairly central.

Don't stay in Pigalle

There could be some ideas in here for you (from when Fez and I went). We caught a PSG match, looked around some stuff. Bought some clothes. Spent lots in Pigalle (Fez). Lovely stuff. He's just gone there again today actually with Kayteh for a game, not sure when he's back.

Stay away from the crepe makers, bakeries, restaurants or you will come back fat.

I luuuuuuuurve those!

We have hotdog stalls, the French have crepe stalls. Life's not fair. :(

So true.

Was on about six crepes a day when I was last there.

Nutella ftw.

A couple of my favourite places in Paris are:

Sacré-Cœur for the view-take the walk up from Pigalle and enter throught the square where all the artists sell their wares.

Père Lachaise for looking at the graves of the famous dead.

Pompidou

Louvre

Macdonalds on the Champs Elysees for cheap beer

Boat trip along the Seine

Don't start any conversation she is as thick as fcuk <_<

Oh & advice Parisians are French this means that they all smell and they are naturally scared of anything & everything, they will asume that you have come to resuce them from some sort of trouble only to stab you in the back once the trouble has gone or in a twist they turn on you with their previous enemy?

French people are great! Wooooooooo

go to the bar 'le mazet' in the latin quarter.

Pokey little bar down a backstreet, with lots of hot americans plus an extensive collection of different cocktails/beers.

Jim morrison supposedly had his last drank his last drink here (apparently his favourite bar), plus they try to cater for the english and thus whack match of the day on the box on a saturday.

perfect

Best city in the world.

Go to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Eleysee, Chatelet les halles etc

Make an effort to speak French.

Bon voyage

It's good but you've got to be having a bubble. fook loads of better cities.

Top tip: Unless you're a Russian oligarch don't try and go on the lash. Prices going through the roof. If you wanna have a drink round the centre a pint will set you back about 8 euros. By today's exchange rate I make that £7.999999999

You'll still have a class time though. So many things to see and you can buy some supermarke wine and drink it in a carpark.

Take Euros.

Don't take euros. Just take out a shit load of cash in one go at the cashpoint whilst you're there. The £1.50/£2 charge is easily offset by the even shitter exchange rate you get on the Britiish highstreet.

It's a lovely place, I didn't want to leave. Try and go when the weather is good and is sunny, it makes all the difference.

I thoroughly recommend the trip to the Stad De France (I'm sure Fez will back me up on this) and go on the Stadium tour, it truly is immense.

I see some of his photos. Excellent.

I very much want to make the trip now!

I am looking into this in the next few months.
