Tommeh Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Gave in too easily? If it weren't for me Tom you'd have been kicked out before half time when you went to listen to the stewards who wanted "a word in the concourse". Everybody knows that's code for "kicking you out". Fair play though, I was close to agreeing with you. I was ready to ask Nev for the keys to the van. Ha.haha.ha. almost forgot the airing of Chelsea Dagger before the game, our support was summed up by the fact 70% were dancing around to it. If someone had me at gunpoint whilst watching this, I'd have happily let them pull the trigger.

Reminds me, in the MK bit there was a dad who spent the whole time desperately trying to get his kid into the game, shouting "Come on you Dons" all game and making biased comments whenever anything happened. No response from the kid. Then towards the end our fans started singing Ring of Fire and the kid started clapping along. lol

BletchleyDons Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Nice to see the post-match thread hasn't descended into childishness and anti-franchise comments then! Top game yesterday. Superb advert for third tier football. Impressed with the general demeanour and behaviour of such sizeable away support. Gutted about the late equaliser but you sensed that Llera and his embarrassing theatrics would be held up as a stick to beat us with, and so it proved. We were at our best yesterday, and I'm glad we gave Leicester fans an indication of how good we can be when things click. We were terrible at the Walkers on the opening day. Not sure if we stifled Leicester or whether you just had a below-par performance, but think the result ends the title race unless you slip up big time. You're top because you're the best team in this league by some distance, with some players of tremendous quality. If we play our last 14 games like we did yesterday, I'll look forward to having another crack at your lot next season. Best of luck for the remainder of the season. Blue Foxes Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Di Matteo - suck it up you time-wasting twat And on him complaining about our goal... The free-kick was given in i think the 94th minute, so the only thing he should be complaining about with the ref is that his team got another chance with a free kick and corner to win it.
Guest Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Di Matteo - suck it up you time-wasting twat "Can't say too much or I will get fined" If your players hadn't spent so much time pissing about the final whistle would have gone long before that free kick.
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I like Robby I doubt they will hang on to him. MK are a stepping stone for him.
StanSP Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I like Robby I doubt they will hang on to him. MK are a stepping stone for him. Just like Ince was. Leave in the summer possibly? Swap with Rafa Benitez haha
fox123 Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 You have to give credit to the coaching staff, and the way they keep the players fit and focussed up until the final whistle. We're the most prolific team scoring in the last 15 minutes and that isn't down to luck, it's just because of the stamina of the players, something we have lacked in recent years...well done lads.
Maybes Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Di Matteo - suck it up you time-wasting twat How can they complain....the added time was fair and to be honest they could have nicked it at the end with a freekick and corner of their own?!!
Daggers Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 How can they complain....the added time was fair and to be honest they could have nicked it at the end with a freekick and corner of their own?!! He's just upset because he knows that Northampton are going to spank them and it'll leave their automatic spot in doubt.
StanSP Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 How can they complain....the added time was fair and to be honest they could have nicked it at the end with a freekick and corner of their own?!! And if they scored from those, I bet he wouldn't have complained about the amount of time added on
Guest Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Is that the commentary from Stringer in your sig Daggers?
MC Prussian Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Di Matteo - suck it up you time-wasting twat Stay zitto, Roberto - it's not like we deserved a point from that game, eh?
Daggers Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Is that the commentary from Stringer in your sig Daggers? I've listened to that bit over and over - and it hits me each and every time. When I die I want Stringer screaming about Max's goal played as the coffin gets torched.
JakeShingler Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Did you see the stunning steward upon leaving the arena? She had blondings and was about 18 Was sweat talking her on the way out Just got back to Sheffield. at the City fans to the right of the allocation who when Maxi scored they took their coats off and had City shirts on!! Heroes! at 90+7. at running down the whole stairway when it went in and hugging Jim Donnelly and Craig on the way back up. at Tom, Ched, Dave and Joe who jumped me after the game. and fooking at the ****** that had left (moaning) before the free-kick. Koke Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Just wanna say I had a great weekend, and I do apologise to those folks I sent filthy explicit text messages. I can't re-call seeing any FT's in MK yesterday, but if I did, I did not blank you. I had a long night in Brighton and my vision was blurred. As for the game, I went absolute mad when Gradel struck that freekick and I elbowed a poor lady in the face. If you are reading this sweetheart, I do apologise.
