JakeShingler Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Yeah that was me Jake, I waved at you when I got out of my car but I didn't think you recognised me. Oh i wasn't 100% sorry
Katy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Oh i wasn't 100% sorry You walked in front of our car too after the game
Corky Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 You walked in front of our car too after the game At least you stopped
JakeShingler Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 You walked in front of our car too after the game Really Near the ground or..?
stez Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 At least you stopped didn't wanna dent the bonnet, there's more worthy candidates for that honour Really Near the ground or..? on your way out the gate.....i was being egged on to beep my horn, as you passed the front of the car.....
Finnegan Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 i just object to being called a spastic by someone who is supposedly a moderator so am doing this out of principal, thought i'd rather do it the dignified way rather than becoming some object of amusement for having an opinion. Don't let the door hit you on the way out?
JakeShingler Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 on you way out the gate.....i was being egged on to beep my horn, as you passed the front of the car..... Glad you didn't i would of shit me self.
AoWW Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Glad you didn't i would of shit me self. Bit drastic but it might have guilt-tripped 'em into offering you a lift, I suppose.
JakeShingler Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Bit drastic but it might have guilt-tripped 'em into offering you a lift, I suppose. No need was with the mother
BoneDog Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 As for the game, I went absolute mad when Gradel struck that freekick and I elbowed a poor lady in the face. If you are reading this sweetheart, I do apologise. I did that once in the Kop at filbo, but it was a downward elbow right on the top of her head! I'm 6ft2 and she was about 5'8 so when we scored I jumped and my arms were up and I brought an elbow right down on her skull. I felt proper guilty and stood with my arms tightly at my side rest of the game. She was hardcore though so she got over it pretty sharpish.
Lillehamring Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I've listened to that bit over and over - and it hits me each and every time. When I die I want Stringer screaming about Max's goal played as the coffin gets torched. do you have it on mp3?
Joe. Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I've listened to that bit over and over - and it hits me each and every time. When I die I want Stringer screaming about Max's goal played as the coffin gets torched. Is there anywhere to listen to this? It sounds brilliant.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Is there anywhere to listen to this? It sounds brilliant. You can listen again here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/radio/bbc_rad...t=dateavailable if you go to Sportstime halfway down the page. The commentary on the goals is about 7 minutes in.
CosbehFox Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 87 minutes of a utter crap across the board tbh. Injury time deserved, about time their centre halves were ticked off pulling and climbing over players, back 4 utter pants gave their front two far too much room for Puncheon who was made to look like Pele and Wilbraham who is a utter donkey who was determined on fouling Morrison all game. Never celebrated a goal as much as that ever! Brown will be lucky to make it till next season. Also, if all your idiotic part-timers, if you are going to away game please do not attempt to give out undeserved stick to our team. Take a step back and realise the majority of them are youngsters without a promotion to their name, they got outdone yesterday and they will learn from it...Morrison in particular and Kingy. I sat near Porter - going off the fellas he was knocking about with, no-one wonder Pearson won't play him. He left 10 minutes before the end.

I agree with most of what you're saying there, but the person who got shown up the most yesterday was Brown without a shadow of a doubt. I like Morrison a lot, and as you say he will learn. Whenever I've seen him this season he's either been brilliant or anonymous and mostly nowhere in between, but I think he's got a long future at this club and he'll develop no end if we're in the chammpionship with him next season, and the likes of Tunchev and Kisnorbo to help him along the way. As for Kingy, there can't be anybody who'd begrudge him the occasional below-par performance after the season he's had so far.
Raj Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 MK played good decent style of footy. But boy are they cheating cvnts!!! No need for it. City deserved the last min draw just cos of that reason!!! Any Maxi haters should be horse whipped!!!! P.S regarding the mng fest.....i can understand now....we had a "lady' in front of us who had absolutely no inclanation to be there. Her lad was playing on his DS Abloke behind me had his Tigers top on. And i spotted people from work who dont even like football..... <_< Mongfesters!!! Thats my away game for the season!!!
CosbehFox Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 I spotted a lad wearing a Liverpool coat in the City end.
Maybes Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 I spotted a lad wearing a Liverpool coat in the City end. Should've sent him to the MK end. They would of happily accepted him.
C-man Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Should've sent him to the MK end. They would of happily accepted him. I would have asked him what he was doing there.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 I think my favourite part of the day (apart from the goals going in, obviously) was when they played Morrissey's current single at half time. I sympathise with you lot that bang on about people not singing, I was giving it some and no-one else joined in at all. Miserable buggers
davieG Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 anyone still doing this.... I am Not in public and by yourself I hope!
Master Fox Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Not in public and by yourself I hope! no, everywhere.
JoeyB Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Just taken me 35 mins to read this thread. God its cheered me up. at the MK fans moaning about the extra time added on - if your players weren't like bamby on ice you would have been alright. a point we didn't deserve, but 21 games still unbeaten, you can't go far wrong with that eh.
Scow Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Some guy behind us said: 'Who's that number 8?' Hmmm, I wonder if he was a season ticket holder/member....
